Ever been attached to the characters?

Been suspicious of very likable characters as they mostly die or turn yandere. There are already 4 instances .

Apart from the fact that your name is funny in my opinion, I like some characters, yes indeed. Nie Li, I wished for him (Tales of Demons and Gods) to slaughter the ominous Sage Emperor, which never happened, because Mad Snail decided to make readers mad and publish chapter slow like a snail in the end. The analogy was funny, so I shared it. It might be true, but Mad Snail is an amazing writer nonetheless. Period. Laksha out desu~

 

Oh, I see. That one. It's indeed a well done scene. I loved how he tried his best for his sister because his brother used to do the same but he refused.

 

I mean, if you don't become attached to the character or where you wish you were in the world than either you should stop reading cause you think it's boring or the author is doing a shitty job.

 

I always get attached to characters in novel I commit myself to. This is because I tend to try and think in their perspective. However, when you do this for every novel that comes your way, you tend to forget about them the moment you immerse yourself in another character.

However, there are rare ones that make me think I need more of this character. Can't remember most off the top of my head but I remember thinking Kyoko from Skip Beat! made me reread the whole 200++ chapters of manga repeatedly because I kept wanting to see more of her.

That word 'ever' is bothering me.. The question is not ever, but always.. Every time i read a novel...

 

Definitely. I can often feel more emotion/attachment m for a fictional character than the people I meet irl...
The MC of Holyland, a manga, is a great example of it for me. Also, Hector from Zombie Knight, Gon from HxH, and probably many more that I just can't think of right now
