So, another Fate series is aired yesterday. Fate/Apocrypha.
Set in a parallel universe from Fate/Zero-Stay Night timeline. This time, it was a massive grail war where 7 servant clash with other 7 servants.
Personally, i like how Mordred with Miyuki Sawashiro voice...it's charming. and to be noted Noto Mamiko voicing, that Assassin of Black also Maaya Sakamoto voicing Jeanne.
What do you think about it?

PS: lol that Flat is voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito)...and Waver is so skinny. He still overworked even in another timeline.
Btw the gore part is uncensored...

Nope. No King of Heroes nor Artoria in this series. It set in another timeline with a different main cast after all. Some history is different, like how Waver still participate in the Grail War just like in Fate Zero but the grail war itself is different from what happened in Zero.

 

Saw it in my most visited anime streaming site but unfortunately couldn't watch it cause of the current crappy internet connection. Anyway Is apocrypha a normal series, movie or a berserk (episode length) kind of series?

Its a stand alone series. Normal 23 minute series. This series doesn't need you to watch the previous Fate installment.

Nope. not that Don Juan from Fuyuki. He doesnt has anything to do in this series. But my prediction is, that shiro

This Shiro is older than Kotomine Kirei and Emiya Kiritsugu

 

also its romanized as Shirou not Shiro in here, i belive. and that also and important things.

I think it's good tho, saber look alike is waifu.

 

Finally had the time to watch it after work.

I have no idea what the story is all about since I didn't play the game but it was really enjoyable. The animation is good, the story is intriguing, and good to know it's a parallel time to the Fate/Stay series. And I fangirl-ed when the song at the ending played since I am a huge Egoist fan.

 

its actually adapted from novel written by Yuichiro Higashide. The game is FGO and is a different story.

Looks good but the music seems less than stellar. Nothing can match Fate/Zero's servant summoning...

 

Holy shit, Maaya Sakamoto is voicing Jeanne?
Also, the novel ending was great. I hope the 2 cours do the light novel justice. They better not cut out on any character developments.

 

So far, so good. They did Mordreds summoning really well, and clearly lots of time went into her badass retracting helm.

But it is A1, when they're good, they're good, but I'm not holding my breath with their hilarious budget managment skills.

 

Can't wait to see more of Jeanne. One of my favorite servants. Seeing as how fate extra last encore got delayed until January, guess I gotta make due with this. At least Artoria ain't in it, god she's awful.
