Discussion first time you read moving chapter of a novel that can make you actually cry or feel really touched

ISSTH is very good at this. The author is a genius.
Moments like when Meng Hao undergoes the karma cycle to become Pill Demon's apprentice to when Pill Demon selects him to be his legacy apprentice. Also when people found out Meng Hao is Fang Mu and he blazes through the skies. Theres also the time where he shoulders the Spirit Severing Will in reluctant defense of the city.
No other novel managed to stir up emotions to such an extend. Most novels tell a Heroic Tale but Er Gen narrates a Mythical Tale.

 

When grandpa doehring died and that bitch alice cheated....

Actually in the novel chaos of a beauty i cried a lot coz i pity the mc and my fave character died (how could they do that) and oh the first chapter of tower of karma i almost cried but i got chills before it happened

the lead was a slave and his sister sold herself as a sex slave to give him freedom but her sister died due to the noble's torture and abusive behavior but in the end when his sister's corpse returned he ate her to be with him forever

 

Shield hero, after the battle with that Lance Playboy bastard, when Raphtalia comforts Naofumi and said that she believed him no matter the other people say things badly about him.

Not that touching?? Well, I am the type who easily cry after all...

 

that scene was "good", but not sad the scene I though was funny was the joint training section on the island when Sheild-bro was in the pub eating those "grapes"

 

I didn't find the cheating of Alice so sad (I was rooting for the girl he in the end ended up with) , I thought there weren't a good vibe going on between them.
Though , I almost cried about how Linley spent 1 (-2?) week doing the sculpture of Alice after they broke up , man up dude, the relationship wasn't even physical yet(oh right chinese thingies)

I cried after reading Overseer (don't know if it's an original?) more than once , especially star seeker (or smthing similar) and the first 4arms , very touching

 

Well, I mean, he is trapped in another world, blamed for things he didn't do, have no friends, and no one to trust. He saw that everybody is evil and thinks that nobody will want to work for him unless he/she is a slave. It feels like everybody in that world are conspiring to bring him down. It's quite touching when he realize that there is someone who is willing to accept and support him.

Ah!!! Also, Shield bro is my first light novel!! He took my first time, yup yup.

Hahahaha!! Yup yup! It's weird that the way identify shield bro from impostor is by giving him super alcoholic fruit!! They should have use this method in final arc after he was resurrected to confirm his identity.

 

but she was a slave too so he doesn't really get over his trust issues [maybe not til the end with the 2nd Princess] but you cant count the slaves as him trusting because they have no choice in the matter due to the slave crest. I think the only one he ever really trusted was the weapon shop uncle

 

I cried happy tears when reading I'm Really a Superstar.

I cried sad tears when those Crimson girls thing betrayed Suo Jia. I dropped the novel after that too.

 

I cried when Wang Tengfei was confronting his grandpa about why he exterminated their entire clan.

 

I thought shield hero was a manga not a novel... is it based on a novel?

also, dude is a bit too emo and way too quick to become abusive towards those who treat him well with the excuse of "lots of assholes are meant to me so I am not a misanthrope"

 

First chapter of Uchi no Musume no Tame naraba. Mc meeting a lone thin starving girl in a forest filled with monsters.

 

Not my 1st but probably the most memorable, in Shield Hero, when Atlas sacrificed herself to protect Naofumi.
