I recommend something only a pc could play. If its mobile, then your brother might be inseperable with it.
When I was 10 years, my game is ol retro PC such as Hercules Adventure, Tetris, Virtual Cops, and etc. If you want your bro to learn Online game, you can suggest him to play Ragnarok Online.
I wonder if he would like some kind of turn based tactics game? Like maybe wakfu or dofus? Personally I thought might and magic heroes online was a pretty good. Especially if you compare it to facebook games. (Though for me it was really annoying that you couldn't play with a friend without having timers. When I play alone I can take a lot of time to think through my turns so being pressured by time or have my turn skipped wasn't pleasant.) Warcraft 3 custom games can be really fun if there's a group of people. And starcraft 2 has that coop mission mode so you can play together and learn some RTS basics. Of course the Wings of Liberty campaign is really good as well, though I don't think that's free content. Also I'll second Adventure Quest Worlds and how about Dragon Fable? And there's that Mecha Quest or whatever as well. For online mmorpg I'll suggest Tera online and Vindictus. Or Black Desert Online.
i like to play pacman pc, harvest moon, crash bandicoot(ps1 all series),digimon world 1,2,3,4 & card battle, final fantasy starting from earliest series, megaman 64 or the megaman in ps1(theres a pc version too... the zero and megaman mode), gran turismo, need for speed underground, gta, heroes might and magic series(the retro one but not the current version. i still like both. the old one is better), megaman gba, pokemon yellow(where pikachu follow u...),dota 1(dont give dota 2...so addicted), counter strike(the mission one i forgot the name)... i like to add more but only this games that gives the expression the most to me during my childhood... i play alot of rpg, srpg, fps, hack and slash, moba games from snes,n64,gba,ps1,ps2,psp,xbox,pc,nds,3ds,wii, (ps3 and so on i didnt continued probably due to my growing age -.-)... i only get to finished most snes,n64,gba,ps1 games during my childhood but after that... i could only play irl...
In my case, get him get used to those old school game on retro consoles, then move foward on the game was out till 2007, and finally, get him hook on recenr game which was hot right now. My recomendation if you see fit: - Anomaly Series( Warzone Earth, Korea, 2 and Defender). - RTS like Starcraft, Red Alert, Anno 2070 and Civ series. - Open Space like EVE online and Elite: Dangerous. - Sandbox like Galaxy On Fire 2( my recomedation due to playable on mobile platform too). - FPS like Battlefield, Call Of Duty and Warface( except that your PC require quite the gragph to play it smoothly). - MMO RPG easy and Free2Play like Elsword and other stuff like that. Dunno other think, but you can use my stuff as refrence. P/S: Galaxy Onf Fire 2 is the step for you to get used to MMO RPG due to repeatable side quest and grinding stuff to craft item in early game.
that's certainly a great idea BUT NO it will let him learn about the bad side of community,if they stay and play in SEA literally will bring bad influence or education to his brother.

why is it a great idea? playing an addictively stupid game is nowhere a great idea im just saying that because if he starts playing early he'll get to 7k when he gets to highschool (maybe) and that's if dota is still alive in the future
Sorry, the nerd in me has to point these out. Final Fantasy 11 is an MMO (which apparently after 15 years is still going on.) Though I guess you could get the whole set up cheap. As for Pokemon Leaf Green... When originally released in Japan it was just Pokemon Red and Green. Later on, Blue came out with slightly better graphics. And then finally they took Blue and made the Red and Blue that we all know and love.
Well dota will be alive I believe so,does your bro like chess?Make him play all those RTS strategy game,it can make him think faster and clearer in future when making decisions.
