Hello, I'm looking for some novels with actually good and well written dialogue. For example discussions with some depth or which make you feel the chemistry between the characters. I don't care if there is a lot of talk and if that means something slow or longer than average, on the contrary I prefer novels that take their time to build their own universe and flesh out their characters. I'm okay with politicics or philosophy stuff as well. Romance would be a plus but it's not essential (and please, no harem). Here's a few examples. Japanese : - Rakuin no Monshou - Gekkou - Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria Korean : - Dungeon Defense - Dragon Maken War Chinese : - Ze Tian Ji - World of Cultivation
The Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich first chapters mainly comedy but if you read 20 or more epic story is begins

Hello, if you are looking for something different, then I recommend my story The Vespidian there is a lot of dialogue and world building. Even some political power struggle. There are even several plots running in the back ground that shape how Vesper(the MC) interacts with the world. That being said there is a bit of satire.
Not sure if the novel I'm currently translating would pique your interest? Here's a blurb and brief overview: Qin Sang is unhappily married to Yi Liankai. A favour done unwittingly for an old school friend results in the reappearance of her first love in her life. But Pan Jianchi is no longer the same man Qin Sang remembers and his being taken into Yi Liankai’s service sets off a chain of events that reveal deep cracks in the wealthy and influential Yi family. Plunged into danger and reluctantly forced to learn more about the man she married, Qin Sang begins to discover that there is more to Yi Liankai than meets the eye. Will she ever discover which of these two men is true to her and will she ever know her own heart? Written by 12 Set during the turbulent times between the fall of the Qing dynasty and the founding of the People’s Republic of China, this is a densely detailed read about the rise and fall of a family of militarists (warlords, in popular parlance) and the ambiguous feelings of the third scion, Yi Liankai, and his wife, Qin Sang. More here... Flawed characters making choices, bearing the consequences, power struggles and secrets that are slowly revealed.
