Lol same. Fps reflex and reaction time degrades really bad over a long time of inactivity.

 

graphics are great, but the mods are crap and the lore is fvcked up, but recent patches state the game is easier, I doubt it though, only those large guilds who can p2w can enjoy the game to its fullest.

 

I even heard you can play games within that game! How meta is that?

 

Yeah, and the most breaking part of it was I was there the whole time that the guild is breaking down apart and can't do nothing but watch.
Its like plague....... everyhalfhour one or two quits...... In the end, I became one of the lasts elders but didn't became the guild master because the guildmaster didn't log-in anymore...
Whenever I browse my prictures folders to look for memes and have a glimpse of our guild photo back then, it brings a small dull moment inside me.

boring to say the least, you'd wish you can logout but its permadeath with IP ban, you can play games but those guilds made those games to divert players overtaking their guild and power.

 

you know about this game called life. The tutorial lasted 18 years ... everyone was arguing over whether or not there was an admin. PVP was not allowed!

 

That's rough. It wasn't so bad for me since I didn't see the guild disband. But it's still painful because I was one of the very first members in that guild. We even did Zhan Long style raids on grinding areas. Where the whole guild just went to one spot and grinded away. Good times.

 

Permadeath is baaaaad. Why didn't they make a respawn system? What if players got PK'ed?

Wow. Well, PvP with permadeath is rather bad, isn't it?

 

Imagine having grinded for years only to be PK'ed an looted. Sucks.

 

I play toram too, but just started this week. It was impressive to see how empty it was (for a mmo) but then I thought that there are damn loads of games of the same genre so its possible for people to just look for another one, moreover, people also has lives so they can always play a game. (I realized this too as I am not able to play more than 1-2 hours a day.

 

Ragnarok I guess? it was so full of people then later on it was so deserted =/

Ikr, i remember when the max level was 40...

 

pass your gold and equip to your spawns or at least hide some before you die, there's no respawn so game naturally sucks.

 

I remember last year that I loved playing this minecraft server (yes I play minecraft). Everyone there was nice, there was so much to do and within a few weeks I got mid game tier gear. On the server one of the mods we had installed was to claim land and make sure nobody could grief you. Sure there were a few items in game that could bypass your claims but everybody was nice so we didn't do that. Then one day I log on to find all my stuff gone. My mob farms totally smashed and base screwed over. Yeah so some new douche joined the server created one of the grief items and screwed over a bunch of people in the server. From that point on I lost the will to keep playing the server. Then one day a month later when I was going to check the server. I realized the ip didn't work and when I went on the internet to check its status I couldn't find it anymore. So I guess the owner took it down for some reason or another. So yeah in the end I was pretty sad but oh well thats only 6 months of work down the drain.

 

Yeah I played a game in high school that I was pretty good at and wasn't very p2w, I was pretty strong in the guild and probably top 100 in the game. I stopped playing cuz I got busy and then checked back a year later and many of the people I knew had stopped playing, though one of the guys who I had started playing with around the same time had become one of the best players in the game. I lurked around for a day or two and then stopped paying attention. A couple years after that I checked back again and the game had stopped running and the website was gone. Don't even remember what the game was called tbh

 

Dont you usually had their contact like MSN,ICQ,FB,SKYPE etc?

That's how you dont lost contact with guild that you love as for myself i had about 3-4 guild contact and being their old member and some even core member of the guild.

That's usually what happen when a game hit their dead zone, and people/guild start leaving due to lack of content/pay2winscheme/slow updates and etc.

The only one remaining are those who spend too much in the game or just too fanbois toward it and cant see that the game is dying and move on.

MU heroia
my first online game and the first time I got an email address(my brother too)
I went on vacation and this little place in the alley has a computer shop with 4 computers and they helped me do it. Very nice people even taught us how to play. Only played counter-strike back then so it was a new experience.
Got into nostalgia when they released MU online on mobile so I checked it out.
Turns out that MU heroia is now offline.

Imeem also closed down. friendster also got "changed"
I don't really feel bad for friendster since I was barely on it.
wow I feel old.
