I like to read and play games.

CN, KR, JP light novels. Including mangas and manhwas.

I like OP Protagonists especially if the Protags are so OP it is funny. But I like most of the novels you can see here in NU. I am male, and I like BL novels. Hi to all those fujoshis and fudanshis out there. Don't judge me.

Can anyone recommend me some bartender like novels? I like those too.

Cactus here! I go by Cactus McCactusson on some other platforms (steam and origin) so calling me McCactusson is fine too!

I enjoy playing video games as well as doing sports such as football and boxing. Since I'm here, it may be fairly obvious that I like to read! I first got into Japanese novels after reading a huge ton of manga during holidays, and when I ran out of decent material, I went on to light novels. After I ran out of decent materials there, I was introduced to Chinese web novels. The surprisingly huge amount of Chinese novels available kept me hooked. To be honest, I prefer Chinese novels typically due to their more mature themes so I dropped Japanese novels entirely except for a few extremely good exceptions. Oh, and all these happened in late 2015 to early 2016. But I made an account just now. While I was late to the Coiling Dragon party, I was on time for some of the other good stuff. So yeah.

My favorite novel has got to be I Shall Seal the Heavens on WuxiaWorld! It was one of the earliest Chinese novel that I've read (was around chapter 350 I think) and to think that I'm still accompanying it in its journey to completion, I feel pretty old and fuzzy. Deathblade's translation quality and dedication made it good too.

I guess that is all I suppose. Now that I've gotten an account, I need to get rid of the 100+ tabs on my mobile Chrome.

ps. Any recommendations for someone who doesn't like harem but wants something really good thing to read? Despite reading a ton of novels, I'm always open to ones I've not heard of. I'm looking for something like Overlord, ISSTH, LMS, etc. CCG is one that I particularly like to read for the past few months but alas, it is getting dropped due to the QI fiasco. I don't like pathetic main characters too lol (overtly stupid, makes rash decision every chapter but deus ex machina saves the day). Happy to properly be part of the community!

• currently Sovereign Of The Realm (on WW) cos you've just got a kick ass MC, that knows how to be humble and is all about the 'if you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. If you're not, I'll repay it in full and a hundred times over" thing going on, which I love in MCs.

• But my all-time favs would be first-equal Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (read it in Korean) and Coiling Dragon/Stellar Transformations.
  • LMS cos I've read it for sooo long and its just soooo addicting I go back and read the past volumes over and over and over again.
  • CD cos its the first of the Grandmist series I've read and it was amazing.
  • Stellar Transformations cos CD + at first I didn't expect it to be in the Grandmist series but it was and I was like "omg waaaht and the waaaht?" super duper fun and the quality of the translations and the language used were all amazing.
