Discussion How to appease the goodwill of God?

Everybody has their own gods. Every religion has their own gods and we won't talk about religions.

We will talk about gods. Every atheist doesn't believe in god, but believes in his own view of the world. Believes that he thinks rational, but most of the time he just believes, too in Darwin's theorie of Evolution, in the big bang and in what not.

When I liked to play soccer in highschool, I said my god would be Pele or Leonel Messi, because those are my absolute favourite players. They are agile, fast and top scorers. Pele is said to be the best player ever! While Messi is said to be the best player now and for a while, because when he shoots, he might kill.

Now time passed and Gods change. There are other gods now like @Ai chan or Taylor Swift or rap god Eminem and Justin Bieber or who not. And sometimes there is nobody and nothing to believe in and rely on.

That's when you are faithless?

I believe there is a god, but i don't pray to him. Do we care if ants in ant farm pray to us?
aside from believing in god i believe more in other secret laws of universe...especially karma and Murphy's laws.
They are powerful, and while we might not see them happen every time but i believe that somehow somewhere it will hit you in the face.

The only way to appease your god is by giving her lots of cute girls as sacrifice. It's fine if the girls aren't virgins or the world's greatest beauty. The only important thing is that they don't have sausages attached.

I believe in the church of myself. I follow my own moral values and I do what I feel is right. While I do believe in an ethereal power I do not worship it.

believe is put faith, scientif knowledge doesn't requeries faith in it, object are attracted through gravity independently if you belief they will or not, so you don't belief in universal gravitation, you know and understand or not the mechanism by which it works

when my bike was stolen I stopped believing in gods, now I couldn't give 2 shits if they're real or not, 1 shit yes, 2 shits? that's too much.
