few chapters ago. Chp 94 He didn't became king and his brother took the throne. 94-95 is a double release so its possible since reading the reading list shows the latest.

 

Anyone else hoping that Baron Ants gets royally screwed for purposely breaking formation? I certainly hope all the monsters choose to attack his camp as it isn't as protected and easily reinforced since everyone moved up.

That's what you get for putting nobles at the head of all your armies. They have no sense of duty and are all in it for themselves, not a very unified army.

 

Chapter 97
For some reason I do not like the way he is handling Ant. It seems stupid to me. Well looking forward to his plan for them. Doing things this way will just make some of them resent him more which will disrupt his plans.

 

That or he's going to be a fearful dog and do whatever he's told to do from now on. He can't leave his post and go complain to his noble buddies or the Prince. He's going to have to wait until the end of the subjugation. By that point with all the accomplishments this side of the lake is going to mount up, will anyone care? Let the guy impale himself via his own future actions.

 

I am also hoping for it to go like that. He should make a situation where the other nobles hate Ant for putting their lives in danger. Otherwise it is going to be a situation where he gets the blame.

I am getting to like that Prince more and more. He shows strong leadership and knows how to spot people with potential.

Why don't they advocate for keeping the spies alive and giving them incorrect information. Making prince 2 or 3 report a crime or similar that is easy to disprove, ruining their image.

 

Chapter 100

I can't say that I am surprised at the turn of events. This course of action align with his history of doing anything for the throne. This also eliminates the possibility of Roan staying by his side and may be the final push for Roan towards conquest.

 

Hmm does the monarch in this story means he's aiming to be the king or?? Because if so he needs to betray/ separate from the Prince and build his own kingdom.

 

He did say that he was aiming for the position at the beginning of the story. He mentions it throughout as well, though I do not know if he will stop at being a general if he finds a good king to serve.

 

In the beginning hmmm he's former 1st life he wants to be commander but he ends up as a leading spearman so in this life his aim is to be a Monarch so he can at least ends up as a General

 

All he have to do is let them kill each other and use the chaos as an excuse to restore order.
