You should always read the LN over the manga cus the manga is really shit compared to the LN most of the time For example WoC(World of Cultivation) the mc is supposed to have a zombie face but in the manga he has a pretty boy face which destorys quite a bit of the plot. They usually miss a lot of character development and are compressed like a lot for example BTTH(Battle Through the Heavens) The manga o chapter 167 was the LN chapter of like 400. Well, I would add one contention. He should never have a pretty boy face, so you are right that the Manhua f'd that up to all hell, but I would counteract what that zombie face term meant.

It didn't mean he looked like a Zombie (at least the western form), but that his face was like an Eastern Zombie, in that it didn't move, react or have any expression. Going by the novel, he wasn't handsome, but he wasn't ugly either. His face was entirely ordinary (ie. an easily forgettable person). It was just that his face was completely placid and could not contort in any way; which was extremely unnerving (edit/ps: it seems his norm expression may have had a dour kind of countenance, so it could scare children). As to the comments of mass scar tissue (from the face explosion scenes later on) it could be inferred that at most he could have had more defined, or even chiseled, features.

 

Then u should read them, they are all a good read and are pretty OP at their current level

Yes that is true but I dont think anyone really had that face in their head I had like a guy that has a square type face that has a lot of scare tissue so he couldnt make expressions and in the novel it is stated that he is ordinary looking. So I never really had the western image of it in my mind but they really fucked it up.

 

I think the confusion is in the understanding of scar tissue. It doesn't necessarily have to be to the level of elephantitis kind of disfigurement, it just means the tissue is dead. So we likely assumed it looked far worse than it really did.

That being said, the situation was still disheartening for Zuo Mo. Being looked at like he was a creepy kind of guy, or even creating assumptions of being untrustworthy to those who don't know him (ok, maybe that ended up being a safe bet, but still...).

Isekai maou - Guy get's summoned to another world by two girls with the class "Summoner". He is put into the body of his character from an MMORPG he played a lot. He enjoyed roleplaying as a demon king and became famous for it. In the novel, he role plays as a demon king as well.

His class is considered the weakest (Chemical magician) in that world. However, since he is such a high level his magic is currently the strongest in the world. He can burn down forests instantly and I think he once created a black hole. He can also reflect all magic back to the castor.

It's a pretty fun read

This guy... is the biggest cheat/OP guy I've seen.
From 0 to godly in 2 years... GG
But nonetheless it's a good read for the actual plot.
