In one chapter, I think when MH viewed was in the necropolis for the first time and when he looked at the 4 pictures, he saw a person that transformed himself into a planet for his people, only to awaken again after a very long period of time after which he destroyed the 2nd pillar and went off. That should have been the story of Su Ming.

Spoiler Don't forget the vision of the Allheaven with the God, it's a man slaughtering everyone in order to revive his wife. Pretty much that fits Wang Lin. Other than that the appearance differs because the Allheaven is only an imitation of the God who he has seen in the past. It's not said that they look exactly alike. *edit* I think there are a lot of clues that point to Wang Lin as the God in ISSTH, I can't read Chinese so my knowledge is only up to the current translated chapters of RI. Besides, I think as someone said before, Deathblade confirmed he is the God.
DB specifically confirmed this in one of the chapters footnotes. Since he is in such close communication with Er Gen i believe him over someone on this forum voicing their opinion.
Damn, well. Always open to being proven wrong. That is cool too though, seems like another big and mysterious character to be shown again in a future novel where he really begins to explore the large universe Meng Hao just set out to explore.
Why read lnmtl? It's literally hard to read. Easier to do the fully translated and edotres version by Deathblade.
Was it ever explained how Wang Lin's clone came in the world of Meng Hao? I skimmed through many chapters so I might have missed it.

You're wrong. Wang Lin gave him freedom to begin with due to a reason I won't spoil. At the end of story the clone fused with original body. It's not a spoiler as its already stated in ISSTH.
Slaughter came through the painting echelon cultivator Dao-Heaven had( 't was his paragon magic). IIRC when Dao-Heaven opened the painting scroll completely Slaughter came out.( Dao-Heaven considered the painting guy, aka Slaughter, as his Master so when Slaughter came out Dao-Heaven was like :O the painted guy actually came out Master pls notice meee~ but Slaughter treated him like air XDDD) It seems that the fact that Slaughter was in a painting is related to Shui Dongliu. Maybe that's the favor he owed( Slaughter said he owed SD in Outsiders invasion arc).
I know that much but was it explained how he got in painting? And how his painting came here? Because at the end of Renegade Immortal the clone was fused back with true body. Seems like Er Gen skipped to explain that important detail.
That's why I said it has something to do with SD. Maybe SD painted him BEFORE HE FUSED BACK so..... (IIRC those who exists in the memory of SD cannot disappear or someting...)
