It'd be better if a user ignore someone and the ignored user cannot message nor post on the profile of the user who put them on ignore list, and they won't see you too. Thanks in advance (・ω・)ノ
Yep. I can't just say to that ignored user, "Hey, I ignored you, you should ignore me too so you can't message me nor post on my profile." XD Oh yeah, you can leave the conversation but what if that user created another one? >~>
That's why it's called 'ignore' and not something like 'block'. I think that the ignore system is fine, and I also think that changing ignore to block is a poor solution too. You should be able to ignore people without them being able to check or not, nobody wants to deal with people coming and asking 'why did you ignore me'.

If they are ignored what does it matter. Is there a reason for this? Why? I don't see why a normal user should be able to dictate what other users see on the forum in any shape or form, even if that is just hiding your own content. If they want to see it, then they should be able to see it.

I don't think that anyone deserves to be harassed, but at the same time I don't think that changing a function that I (and I'm sure others) quite like is the answer. Your response also highlights a bit about why the ignore system is nice because it can help avoid situations where people can get salty or angry that they have been ignored, because they shouldn't know in the first place.
Who annoyed you? Yeah. I agree. I'd rather not let the person who I ignored notice the fact that I purposely ignored him/her. And tbh, I don't see anything wrong with the current ignore button. So you're saying: "if I ignore him/her, he'll/she'll technically also ignore me since the moment I ignore him/her, he/she won't be able to see/notice me in any way". Ignoring someone is your decision and it only affects you, it must also affect the person being ignored. "Disregardment is the cure to mockery, annoyance, insults, etcetera."
Just don't place too much importance in what they say and do. Doesn't matter if they can quote your comments, just disregard them and that would equal to basically not seeing their quote on the first place.
On that case, I think it's better for you to change your privacy setting. Set it so that only your friends are able to see and message you. As you have said before, user still could use clone acc to msg you even if you ignore them. Blocking user that you have ignored won't solve the problem since both system are using username as base. Btw, does this user who kept mesaaging you start with d?
