They were abusing the authority of an administrative guild. It is fine for Shin since it doesn't effect other guilds but desert scorpion used it to steal the rights and goods of other guilds, they deserve it. (First choosing rights and public use of residential facilities)

On another note, Shin's growth secrets (beyond, god's true name, complete boss sets) are either public knowledge at platinum level or someone else is sleeping around with the administrative staff. (Still no one seems to know about soloing bosses for some reason which connects all three of them)

 

Zeus wasn't bi-sexual, he was omni-sexual. He even stuck his lightning bolt in animals. Pretty common among deities though, just look at loki.

 

I think they probably do know about soloing bosses but if you wait until you're at Gold level to start doing it then it's probably rather hard. Then again they had literally decades to run event dungeons and raids to catch up.

I remember that in the Iron Druid Chronicles, Atticus made a joke about every pantheon having one God that banged everything that move, and that Zeus claimed that spot in the Olimpians, he even got a hard on on an half Giantess wich other half was supossed to look hedious!!!

 

What's more impressive is that Zeus made a bunch of other people bang random things with his shape shifting.

 

Who here thinks Shin can make it to the end of Beyond and first dungeon in two years?

1. Boss fights, if he plans to grind equipment and elixirs with the 10 attempts item, will take one week each. 50-60 Consumption of elixirs and 7-10(?) set pieces.

2. A floor of Beyond takes about 1-3 weeks if easy, 2-3 months if worth training, and we've yet to see how long it'll take if Shin runs into a genuine wall he can't immediately surpass.

3. Event Dungeons. If they only call Shin to deal with SS or above dungeons... perhaps 1 month every now and again over the next two years will be used up.

4. The off chances he gets killed takes off a week of time each death.

5. Something unexpected. Like Dimensional Mercenary Work or trouble on earth. Can't say how long these will take, but Ellos seems to be in trouble and Shin won't abandon his first real and male friend in the dungeon.

6. Women troubles... that's about a lifetimes worth of time, so earth is fucked.

 

Shin'll do alright. Just look at the beginning... After the 5th floor, it took him kind of a while to get to floor 20. then he took less time to get to 40, then 50, and now where of you ignored the beyond, he'd be able to beat 5 floor-blocks in hours.
So I think he'll only get faster and more efficient.

 

Loki also let animals stick it in him.

 

Also, what do you think the first boss of Beyond will be like? it has to be something absolutely insane right?

 

Assuming it has bosses, it could be various things. Enlarged versions of the same ones, fortified into raid bosses but having to solo them. Chimeric monsters with traits from the different monsters he's come across so far.
I want to see him run into Loretta as a boss and be like dafuq is this.

 

If this was a cliche op protagonist story I would say you are right, but I have faith the author can continue to write an exciting climb through the dungeon. I'm expecting that he gets far, but by the time two years are up he isn't at the end. I assume this because there might be a big bad behind the demon lords and invaders out there, and Shin will need once more rise even further to challenge him, and I don't want to imagine there's a dungeon surpassing beyond.

 

The fourth floor of the Beyond only took Shin 2 days.

 

Beside the Zeus name Shin also have that reproductive buff...

It'd be funny that Shin has apparently become so handsome and manly that aphrodite takes notice of him due to that and him attracting so many females. =D
