Once you're used to seeing Ip Man beating the shit out of 10 karate masters for "bags of rice".... Iron fist seems like a kiddie's brawl. btw, from looking at the discussion, inb4 "MMA enthusiasts" keep screaming "this is fake. MMA is king!"
My first impression: Another Iron something, eh? I wonder who's next. Iron Head? Iron feet? Iron balls.. Pls no... Well all of these stuff are pretty much the same and the story can be guessed by just looking at the trailer so no I'm not a great fan.
It was good for me, some people hate the action part (which of course is lacking to me too) but it is an origin story I believe and he never finished his training and just went rogue after he got the iron fist but ultimately it was the Dojo Master (Colleen) that made it up!! So freaking hot!!
If you love Netflix's previous Marvel adaptations, Iron Fist(TV Series) probably will feel like homework in advance of The Defenders. The pacing is reminiscent of the leisurely vibe of the 1970s series Kung Fu, to which it has some obvious parallels.
