So, just a suggestion: You could make it so that when you log into NU you automatically also log in to NUF because it makes no sense to divide them when they both have the same usernames and passwords. If this is already implemented then this is a bug report because it doesn´t function with mobiles.
You see, NUF is outsourced to Zenforo to make, and @Tony makes adjustments to it as he sees fit. On the other hand, NU is made solely by Tony, our Graceful and Generous Lord and Savior. This makes it so they have different log-in systems, even if they share the same accounts.

Yup. If you are logged into NUF, you are already logged into NU. It doesn't work like NU -> NUF. So they can just logged into forums first.
As others said, when you log-in to NUF, you already log-in to NU as well. I don't really know why it doesn't work on the reverse though, but I think there is a reason, since Tony would've just made it bothways otherwise. So I don't really think it will happen.
....If you log-in in NU on iphone (same with Ipad), you won't be automatically logged in to NUF. I guess that makes it a bug? Had that problem (the whole logged in on NU but not in NUF), at some point forgot my password and did the whole password reset for NUF, logged in through NUF and had it logged for both NU and NUF a few months. Than a week ago logged in through a different device and remembered my old password (pure accident, I just forgot my new password (or it's existence) and used my old one (out of sheer habit on that device), Lol)-logged in with it through NU but it didn't loggin me on NUF so I tried loggin with the old password on NUF and I couldn't. Then remembered the whole thing with the reset and now I have different passwords for NU and NUF xD
There is also the problem with 2 steps authentification : it doesn't work on NU, you always must login first on NUF for it to work, otherwise it just tells you that your password is wrong !
No. 2 times. The second time was when I enabled 2-steps authentification. When I had the basic authentification system, wether from NU or NUF, the login was working correctly, but now, every time I try to login from NU, it doesn't work anymore. I need to always login from NUF
Absolutely possible to make this happen with the Xenforo API - but this probably isn't or ever be priority... but to my memory consumer integration already exists?
Or just use only the login page from NUF and do a redirect after login. That way, only one thing is used to login and need to be maintained. And NU just use the API Access like it's already doing.
I'm actually glad this was implemented. If no one has noticed, but once you login to NUF, you're also logged into NU.
