Recommendations Looking for novel with Gods or multiple realms, even modern.

Hey all, first time creating a thread like this.

Looking for novels with gods as the target for the MC or a higher realm. Would love one with known gods and the MC is heading towards that realm or higher. Also, would love multiple realms and the MC discovering them or the MC learns of a way back to earth and comes back to check on things.

Would not mind reincarnated or transported novels with game elements for the multiple realms part.

Lets see... Not into dark themes that go beyond.

- Against the Gods (not willing to try, need more convincing of this)

Arifureta has what you want, but it's a long journey. Just don't let the novel fool you into thinking that he won't fight against a god and you'll probably be fine.

Campione is the best I've got, MC doesn't become a god nor aspires to be one but his power level is at that stage. The setting is mostly Earth.

 

Of the three you need help deciding on, Coiling Dragon would probably be the best that fits your criteria. The disciple one is good, but I think you are reading it for the wrong reasons lol. It doesn't really focus that much on getting stronger, and it kinda gets annoying at one point cuz u know that she will just die after a while. Still recomend it tho. As for Arifureta........ the harem annoys me lol, and is what made me drop the book.

Yea I dropped Arifureta because I actually liked the first pairing and I wasn't going to watch that get disgraced by a harem

Yeah The girls are all clingy as hell, and the main girl even pushes other girls towards the mc, which is really weird. First 2? volumes were the best, but afterwards, it went downhill. Really dissapointing ;_;

 

Not sure if My Disciple Died Yet Again would be your cup of tea, but to me it was and it was interesting. Try it if you have free time.

Reigokai? Hell yes!! Read the first few chapters, I was planning on letting it reach 200+

 

Coiling Dragon would be the best fit. it has gods, sovereing which rule over gods and overlords which are personification of laws.

ATG also has what you are looking for as it seems that the current arc, 1000+ chapters, is going to be dealing with the god realm characters (outer space in this case).

Great Demon King is another novel which has gods dealing with MC. The novel is reminiscent to Coiling Dragon but with a harem and the occasional coitus.

Zhanxian is another one. It has MC dealing with the chinese mythology of heavenly court. It's pretty self centered with MC never being in any real trouble. The plot of the novel isn't really known until the end.
