Question Maid Mother or Happy Life Daily Release? Vote pls.

I'm looking at doing an almost daily release next month.

Of the two novels that I'm translating, Maid Mother has a manga so if anything, the daily releases for it will be aimed towards getting us closer to where the English scanlations are currently at.

Happy Life, on the other hand, has been slow so I'll like to try and ramp up more releases.

I can only do either one though. So for next month, I'll be solely dedicating releases to either projects.

Please vote and let me know which you would prefer to see a daily release for.

Yep. Maid to Mother. Though Happy Life is good but the MM gives off a very fluffy feel.

Well, i think happylife would be better.

Because as you have said, we will only catch up to the english scans of the manga and for manga readers like me, unless theres a different POV or something in the novel, it will only be catching up. While HL is an unknown so it would be enjoyable to read.

 

Or maybe alternting releases for both so that it would be faster??

For MM, there are various differences between the manga and novel. Whilst POV isn't different, it fleshes out a lot of background moments. Example (in 2-3): Sid does not instruct Lily to show her cute, pleading side. Lily did it on her own to Leonard. You can see how the manga adaption changed the scene. It became less of her initiative but more of Sid presenting her an alternative.

Doing alternate releases... would be tiring. MM is slightly easier to translate and as everyone has mentioned is fluffy, so it's easier on the eyes and I have a slightly better pace with it. HL needs a lot of work as some scenes are full-on. It's also longer (as I stick to the web novel lengths) compared to breaking it down to bite size pieces as I do for MM.
