1_Well like the title said , i want a MC who create his own religion (of course based on him)
2_ A novel RRL or not is not important with a MC mistaken as OP like History's number 1 founder or Teaching Heroes of Might and Magic(RRL).
With that i will have a good list of novels to read this summer ! hahaha

 

Breath of Creation? From RRL, mc is a God similar to creator of Three Realms from Desolate Era, mortals and immortals wonder if he exists.

Teaching Heroes of Might and Magic was so good but a shame that there was no update...

 

How important (Or I guess "core") do you want it to be to the story? Because Leylin in Warlock of the Magus World does create a religion.

He's originally from the Magus world planet, but later in the novel he infiltrate the opposition and instead of Magi they have Gods, who basically rely on followers' constant stream of belief to empower themselves and learn faster. Basically think of Coiling Dragon

 

There is on I could recommend, but it was dropped so I won't actively mess with you and will put it under spoilers if you are still curious. Looking back now, it wasn't a particularly good work to be honest, I still liked it, but I'm aware it wasn't something great.

Coiling Dragon's belief system sucks balls, it was left unexplored for the most part. It had such awesome potential but because of reasons it barely even mattered.

...eeeeh, there is Coiling Dragon, but really, the focus in his religion is minimal.

then i wonder if the grass porridge cult of the Legendary Moonlight Sculptor counts at all? he didn't create it. and they are just an awesome bunch of fanatic weirdos...

he's a Reincarnator in a world and he's race is spectral created by god.. in this world he's the only spectral race and later he accidentally convert a beast to his race so he understood that he can convert people or any kind of species if he wants to.. then one day he find an old beggar and want to help him because he's been bullied by the locals he converts him and tells him "HAVE FUN" just kidding but he converts him and the beggar thought "GOD" save him.. so later in chapter that same beggar create a religion for him and convert many people because he thought the MC convert him to convert many people like him who's suffering... the MC doesn't know at that time and he go there to investigate because there was only 2 people he convert.. and he just accept it on a whim because he really didn't care very much HAHAH... but later in chapter he converts the whole planet ooops spoiler..

And for "Warlock of the Magus World" well my read in this novel start to slow down and i grow bored so in wich chapter does Leylin create his religion ? I want to set that chapter as a goal to motivate my-self to continue reading the novel
