What is ML doing in the forest? When did ML notice that he fall in love with MC? MC have any admirers? If yes who?
For admirer's, I can only think of three people. One being the guy who's a prince that tried to get the MC to marry him by force but ends up getting beat up by the ML when he showed up and claimed the MC as his woman. She actually caused a incident where she beat him up claiming he was a "false prince" but he didn't get angry because he realized the MC was the woman he had seen previously that he became interested in. First time they met, she was bringing home a little boy (he becomes her uncles guard later) and the guy was secretly stalking her. She ends up poisoning him so he falls off his horse and is weaken so he can't follow her. He finds out the MC went to his school later and keeps trying to be around her but alas, she didn't want to see his face. He wished he didn't leave such a bad impression on her the first time because now she doesn't want to see him near her. He felt unworthy though at the same time because she was getting more and more stronger than him but he still liked her regardless. He is extremely envious of her friends and the people she lets around her because he can't be one of those people. There was a scene where the MC was fighting off assassins and he was so concern he went to go find her to help ASAP once he heard about her situation. The other guy is someone the MC met in her school. She thought he was beautiful-- to the point where she couldn't tell if he was a boy or a girl LMAO. She see's him again in the forest where she was getting points to buy stuff. She accidentally lost one of his clothes in the river when she offered to wash it... any who, he apparently had been trying to find the MC but she joined the school dressed as a man so he had no idea it was her. The reason why he had been trying to find her is because of his master who is kind of like a prophet. The MC is suppose to be some special star thing. The guy believed he had only been born to be by the MC's side to protect her etc. He's envious how the MC and ML treats each other compared to how she treats him. The ML see's him as a rival and really dislikes the guy when he tries to be alone with the MC when he has to go out and do things that he can't avoid. There was a incident where the ML plotted against him by making the guy drunk then had his two main Wei's send the guy to a brothel where the guy later wakes up and is so disgusted by the touch of the women that he went to bath for a long period of time scrubbing down his skin (MC finds out later when the guy's little brother tells her). The last guy who became interested in her is a powerful man who sent his people to attacked her empire due to one of his subordinates having a grudge against the MC and ML (it's the ML's former guard(?) that saved his mother previously). This later causes the MC to sneak into his forces dressed as a boy and pretended to become one of his mind controlled servants. She ends up destroying the place as well as rescuing people that was in her team (MC was made captain due to her skills). The guy slowly got interested by her when he assigned her to be by his side and he saw her silliness when she was suppose to stand on guard, she fell asleep standing, when he was eating, he decided to have her eat a meal with him. When she escapes later, he finds out who she was and when he see's a picture of how she really looks, he was awed that a woman had defeated him. Later when she goes see's one of her disciples, she encounters him again but doesn't know it was him because previously, he was wearing a mask. Any who, he kept trying to get her attention and saved her at one point but alas, she was too busy doing her own thing. Later she gets sucked up into a vortex so they got separated. He at one point stopped by her shop but had just missed her so he told her people he would wait for her and they told him she'd be back in a month but he said it was okay and wanted to stay to wait for her return.
ho ho that sound adorabs. so did the mc & ml get together at some point? like did they establish relationship yet?
At where I was at, yeah! The ML's dad already met the MC and seem to really approve of her. The ML wanted to go bring the MC to see his dad to make it official but then a incident occurred where the MC had to go back home. Overall, they are already a couple. I actually don't think the MC's dad knows yet.. when the ML first met the dad, he wanted to leave a good impression on him but didn't call him father-in-law yet because he wanted the MC's dad to accept him first.

Wow, you are already ahead... (Get distracted by another novel...again). @elparis I am more thinking that 10 years is for MC to fully accept ML(married him). But, of course when they began the promise, the MC already opened her heart to him.
She meets her mother in Ch.1400. Although her mother is a disciple herself, she is higher rank than normal disciples so people called her shishu. The MC came with other people as a 'medical disciple'. Seeing her mother's cold look made the MC's heart hurt. She believes that her mother was surely thinking of her father. The MC notices wounds on her mothers wrists. They look like they were recently made whiplashes. This made the MC want to investigate her mothers situation. The MC tells her mother her name (her's, not the previous body owners). She wanted to say who her father was as well but she stops herself. When her mother heard the name "Feng", it made her startled. Although she had never seen the MC before (MC was disguised as a boy), she felt a sense of familiarity. It made her cold and indifferent attitude relax and her face soft.
Is it just me or most of the mother from transmigration stories all come from higher rank than the father?
I feel you on this.. due to her family status, their country is higher thank than the MC's dad's country therefore, the MC's mom's family forced them to separate and basically kept the mother caged up at home until she later gets taken in as a disciple of a powerful figure which the MC later finds out and tries to find them. The MC's father wasn't strong enough to go and take her back, plus, the MC's mother's family made him drink a medicine that sealed his memories. He is aware that he had a wife and knew her name but that's as far as it went. Luckily, regardless of his sealed memories, his heart only belonged to her so he never considered marrying any other women. I might be wrong on this, but I think the only reason he agree'd to take the medicine was because if he didn't, they would kill his child.
Yeah she did. She doesn't acknowledge them. When they found out she was the ghost doctor, they announced to the people how she is part of their family so that their family looked more powerful, of course publicly, the MC humiliates them. After rescuing her mother, both her mother and she agrees to have no ties towards her mothers side of the family. They were all basically trash any ways, one of them even wanted to fight the MC because the MC offended her (this was before they found out the MC's identity). The main reason the MC's mother had cuts is due to her master. He punishes her if she doesn't complete her task. He plans to use her body for his own enhancement so he planned to kill the MC's mother in the end after making her stronger to a certain degree.
How did they reacted to the mc doing this and taking her mother away?....i guess her mother was happy to reunite with her family
I didn't get far enough to where it mentions the MC's mother's family finding out the MC taking her mother away. As for the master, when the MC came to rescue her mother, her mother was near death. She was ambushed by them and was in a matrix so other people were not aware of it. Only her senior brother who has a crush on her knew something was wrong and tried to find answers. The MC later finds her mother in a cave and see's her mothers master whipping her. The MC ends up attacking the master and soon kills him in the eyes of the public. By then, the MC's people had already taken away her mother. Afterwards, the city lord and a few disciples show up and tries to fight off the MC after they become enraged by the death of the MC's mother's master (he held somewhat a high status). It ends up with the MC exposing her female identity, killing a bunch of them, and even killing the city lord's super animal. As she was about to tire out, the ML shows up to save her then they left. As for the city lord, he later tries to send assassins to kill the MC. The MC's brother (not by blood, it's the guy who she found previously who acted as if he had "amnesia") learned of the city lords deeds and later went to kill the city lord himself. The MC got news of it later.

I might be remembering this slightly wrong but I think they were at the ML's residence at the time and the ML's dad invited the MC to eat dinner with him(?). He heard rumors about the MC (servants/citizens were saying how a red dress woman was seen with the ML) but never saw her or knew her background. After meeting, he didn't seem to oppose her being with the ML. He became really approving of her after and incident where she helped him recover from a serious injury when he thought he was going to be wasted forever.
