netflix - ice fantasy

did anyone watched it?
i just started it and have a few Q:

cgi quality is lacking, but with a tv series i can forgive it

1. is it based on any novel?
2. opinion about it?

 

Yes its based on novel and its translated and complete

 

don't watch it not worth your time, there are some better

so far its not tragic

 

nah the problem is later, the story is kinda a mess
once you reach the last episode you will wonder
"what's the point of the story?"

 

Don't seems that much different than any other story/serie, what is the point of stories? it's for entertainment.

I beg to differ, you will enjoy it
I didnt like the first episode too and ended up reading recaps until episode 8
then I enjoyed the story so watch I watched it from episode 8
It also has good rewatch value, as I was able to go back and watch the first few episodes I skipped after completing it
For me Ying Kongshi was my favorite character, along with Yan Da the Fire Princess
Fiery women are perfect

I wish the song below was the music theme for Yan Da and Ying Konshi since they are both my favorite characters

 

at least i can get a glimpse of what "jade like beauty" means
