I'm looking for a Xianxia novel like Stellar transformations and I'm mainly looking for a novel which is completely finished and long (like ST which has like 680 chapters). I would generally prefer if the novel is Chinese but if there is another novel close to this I wouldn't mind. I know Coiling Dragon is finished as well and I'll probably check that out soon and I've also started reading I Shall Seal the Heavens, but I would like some other recommendations . I would like a novel where the MC actually works extremely hard and does not simply have all his powers bestowed to him in one go (I'm relatively new to reading Xianxia novels so I'm not too sure if this is a common characteristic amongst these types of novels or if this is rare...). Also, if it isn't a harem novel that would also be great. The novel does not need to focus on romance however, I would prefer if it wasn't a harem
Desolate Era. Mostly IET novels are what you looking for. anyway, look at my reading list, you might find something there.
HI 5, i dont like harem as well. Also i would like to remind you that most of the novels here arent finished due to how long each of the chinese novels are but i recommend these novels due to their size and how awesome they are. They have amazing plot, great characters, and awesome world building. I would start with Slime datta and moonlight sculptor, its easier to digest. Lord Xue Ying(Same author as CD/ST) The Desolate Era(Same author as CD/ST) Renegade Immortal(Same author as ISSTH but i like this one better) Terror Infinity The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (WN)
yeah try DE..it is not yet finished but we are nearly halfway done. Also, for a completed work, you might consider Child of Light...try reading a review first tho. It is definitely not the best out there~~
if you want something complete, check out the complete tab on my reading list. those are all the good ones, imo Duloluo Dalu, Legendary Moonlight Sculptor and CD were my first LN's, as they match the general style of books i like to read, so my list skews that way.
Yeah, but Spoiler you really don't know that until the very end and the whole cultivation was different since it was in a different universe governed by CD's MC; the connection doesn't really add that much to the story, aside from a "oh, that's kind of cool moment." Nitpicking aside, I'd go and check out the rest of IET's works, the romance is pretty meh, but there's no harem and IET pretty much feels the same through all his novels. Renegade Immortal is also another pretty good pick and if you don't mind the MC being put in a disadvantageous situations all the time (like having his treasures stolen by far more powerful cultivators, and then being injured and having his power sealed for awhile). The MC pretty much starts out as a nobody and works his way up with his own effort. The romance seems pretty non-existent at the moment ( Spoiler seeing as everyone close to him seems to die ), but it doesn't seem like there's a harem. However, I can't really think of any good, finished, novels that fit that criteria. Most of the novels already have a few hundred chapters translated, so it'll last you awhile, assuming you don't blaze through it in a single day
You are wrong in this instance,CD is a prequel to ST, therefore ST was written first. Go on wuxiaworld and look at IET novels in chronological order. I agree that you can read them in any order.
He can start with ST or CD sequel is a big word in the world of Chinese novel Besides in this case there is no direct relation between the two. Also ST was TL first for me it comes before CD but I am not sure if the order it was written is actually like this lol who cares anyway.
Oh is that so .... I had always thought the other way around but just like everyone said it doesnt really matter
