Problems with reading sites

I only have this problem with Wuxiaworld.com. When I scroll down the site to continue reading, it is either very slow or simply frozen.
This is the only site where I have this problem (I don't have a lot of websites I regularly visit though)
Additionally, I never see intrusive ads come into my screen, except for por... nvm
The only clue I have to these problems is the notification that plugins were blocked on this page that appears occasionally (except every time I visit wuxiaworld)
I don't have any special extensions like ad blockers. Heck, I don't even have an anti-virus.
Edit: Changed my browser to Opera Mini. Works perfectly now, but still lags

If you are running windows 10, go to windows defender settings and choose scan offline. It will remove 99% of viruses and malwares that are not detected by anti-virus applications. After that, clear your cache and try to load WW again. If the problem persists, it will be mostly because of ads, so, use an ad-blocker if the problem makes it impossible to navigate.

P.S.: After doing all this, get an antivirus or enable windows defender to protect ur PC.

 

That's nearly the same as giving your personal information to everyone who ask you about them on the Internet...

 

Fresh meat issues aside, maybe because that page has too much chinese letters? So a text-only page can be heavy for your low-spec machine.
Got it before, but with Japanese sites mostly, only once or twice with Chinese.

 

I get this problem a lot on reading sites with heavier traffic compared to most others. (Gravity, ww, volare). Could be a problem on their end too. Cause I have tried every fix there is.
Happens on Android phone though.

same here!! It sometimes happens to me on gravity as well~~ I decided to ignore it as slow internet,but I noticed that it happens only on my phone and not on my laptop. Even on my phone, I use adblock and this goes away.
