    Actually, I didn't even know cultivation meant farming until later...

    Basically, when World of Cultivation started. Cause then people said the guy's a farmer, but also a cultivator, and cultivating = farming but also cultivating to become strong...

    Me = mind blown.

    The funny thing was, is that I actually thought that these people were growing plants to become immortal...

    Well, there was a CN shoujo novel about a girl growing flowers to cultivate...

    yeah, we can farming level or item drop in a game. We can farm magic power in dragon veins just like in maou no hajimekata >__>

    Yeah after reading World Of Cultivation I've been seeing Cultivation Farming a lot. Like in Demon Diary or Plundering The Heavens. Now in CNs, it's starting to take a place in the Cultivation world I think. Mostly used in small sects to maintain the herbs/resources in the Sects.

    I've always wanted to read a scene where a cultivators special 10,000 year spirit grass was actually a psychedelic.
    The cultivator goes on a spirit journey like many cultures who use drugs to release their consiousness.

    I remember the first time I saw the word "cultivation", it was on "World Of Cultivation", I thought something along the lines of: "How interesting, a novel about an entire would which revolves around farming? Must be pretty interesting! Let's take a look!" *reads synopsis* "Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope!!!!!!"

    ...Same here, except I read that the main character was a "farmer" and kept thinking that cultivation = farming until I read ISSTH.

    OMG they changed it! I would totally be tricked by it if I saw the current one! I'm so glad the old synopsis was completely different!!!! >.<

    I googled it up a bit on the wayback machine... I'm not sure if this was what I saw, but it gives a clearer view that this is not something I'd want to read:

    It's hard to remember when I first came across the word, but I think I got lucky and had a translators note about the word, so I never got confused.
