Huh? Then he will not get his own horror movie made after his experience?
He will not get sued by Hollywood after the movie become a success?
And his life will not be devastated because of the said movie?
    That's boring.

I've been in a totally quiet room, remembering a song when suddenly it started playing. It was a perfect reproduction, no change in tempo or other music joining in. The singers voice did sound slightly 'richer' though.
I was suprised so I jumped up and it stopped right away. It was kindof a fade-out instead of being cut off like yours. I think it was 3 or 4 seconds long. If I hadn't moved it probably would have lasted longer.

I've heard that this sort of thing can happen when your senses are deprived. In my case, I hadn't heard any real noise for more than an hour. By focusing on the song mentally, I called up the memory of hearing it, and the part of my brain which pays attention to the info from the ears was looking for sound so much, it took the sound from the memory instead of present time.

Could something like this have contributed to what you experienced at all?

To me it sounds like what you heard/saw was a combination of things, one of which being either sleep-paralysis, or being in a dream.

Thank you for posting this, this is interesting stuff...
I've had the tetris effect happen with game stuff, but also once with library decimal numbers, after I spent a day sorting books. (it looked like the matrix... It would've been cool if it didn't make me feel wooziness and confusion)

No, it wasn't closing and opening, I had my eyes open (from what I'm aware of), though I could focus more on the 'location' of the music when I closed my eyes.

I've had a thing similar to 'Tetris effect' before in dreams after playing too much strategy games... Woke up with massive headaches a few times after having dreamt of logical numbers in available currency, diplomacy relations and troop battles... (Example: Europa Universalis IV. Also stuff like Patrician IV where I used to keep playing for hours at a go I'd then dream of it...)

Well, the problem is that it didn't stop at one song that was normal, it was a barrage of music sped up and entangling each other. Also, it went on for while as I was trying to make sense of it but in the end as I said, as though a curtain call was made with a guillotine, something struck down before my eyes as though a blast door came down to close off a section...

I would love to agree with you... But I have no experience with any beside alcohol. I don't even smoke cigarettes let alone weed, I don't drink caffeine let alone drugs and I sure haven't stuffed anything up my nostrils.
