    if I report someone, does he know I reported him?

    if my report got passed, do I get a notification about it?

    You are in luck! Since you can report your own post as well(yup) you can try posting something bad then reporting it and checking if your worries are justified or not!

    It's all hush-hush to the public except for a few cases such as persistent false reporting.

    You may or may not receive notifications, just know that your reports do get through even if it takes a bit of time to be processed.

    Read the Forum Rules again, particularly about self-reporting.

    Just hope you don't get yourself banned. I've seen that happen before on other sites.

    EDIT: theres actually a section of rules on self reporting?

    In all honesty, I highly doubt it does. Ratting out on the people who report you deters reports. And I've been on a lot of forums and places with report features and I've never been "informed" of snitches, though I have been warned and banned. Either mods are good enough at their job to find offending posts without reports, or reports don't inform the accused.

    Only mod and you and @God know your report.
    You get reply from mod if mod reply your report, if not then no.

    It's all good. Mods prefer more reporting to less reporting in my experience. Communication to make their jobs easier is what it's all about.

    Legit reports for honest mistakes or solved threads (forgotten title, which chapter, bugs etc) are fine. Unless it's a persistent and intentional reports, staffs are sensible people so don't worry too much about it. You can always ask for a pardon in PM if you are warned.

    What Arc-chan and Dyvil-chan said! Arc-chan reports posts all the time while asking for merge! There is no problem to report for fixing mistakes!

    I've already reported a thread I made to ask for it to be deleted, the entire point of the thread was to test how many nuffies I'd earn when making it, so the thread has lost its meaning of existence.
