In both The Legend of Sun Knight and the Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich there is a major character named Roland that was a paladin (at least at one point). And in the court of Charlemagne there were twelve palatines, or Charlemagne's specially appointed soldiers. This is where the term paladin comes from, as it eventually evolved in fantasy to mean a holy knight. One of the currently more famous of these palatines, was Roland, wielder of Durendal. He played only a minor role in the histories of the time but was later greatly romanticized in the late middle ages. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlemagne Spoiler: Unrealistic but cool pic
I'm going to have to say excalibur because I've only ever heard of that and caliburn and I know very little about the latter, also I think I read something about them being the same sword or one being based off of the other?
I googled Gay Bulge because I knew what spear you were talking about but don't believe you spelled it correctly, long story short don't google gay bulge Edit: Gáe Bulg
But a Katana[4] is better than a sword with [0]. Or better yet Blade[4] for onehand sword users. But for lv40 battle arena a +10 Saber[2] would be the wiser decision. XD Voting for excaliber. Due to excaliber on SoulEater anime
the only final fantasy game I liked was the one that took place in Dalmasca (?), anyways, it was what really made me like midieval/fantasy/sword and magic genres... That was the true final FANTASY seeing how all the new ones are more sci-fi futuristic than fantasy...
Hey, you forgot the Biblical Jawbone. Technically it was bone shaped like a jaw which in fact belonged to a jaw of an animal, now shaped and edged like a sword.
