I also think that would be best. Here is best for feedback and letting us know it exists, but rr is where it should be.

Assuming it's 500 words per page, which is a conservative estimate as it could be higher (or lower) depending on spacing. That's like 45,000 words and is monstrous. Not as monstrous as the guy who wrote and posted over 1 million words worth of content within a few months and still retains the position of highest wordcount on RRL for a single story.

Hey Thank you everyone for the Feed back and Sorry about posting it in the wrong section.

I'll be releasing more soon and that might help tone down the idea of him being too op maybe? If not I can easily change somethings. As for where to find it currently It's all a bunch of separate Google Docs that I'm about to combine into one for ease of access to readers. I didn't want to do that currently since most them were written between 11pm-5am on a phone so errors will be there. But I'll throw in a large google in a second and send a link and or post it here. Though it will probably only be updated after I finish a chapter completely.

Sorry for the Delay. I just finished the google doc of unedited chapters but I can't post links yet. So I will try to do some editing to chapter 3 and 4 and post them so they're not too bad. However, it's currently 4 am so I can not make any promises.

    I will after these.
    Chapter 3
“My name is Delphi Varbanask. I am an illegitimate daughter of a noble born from a servant. I was discovered by my father's other children, and they have sent people like those knights to kill me.”

“Why exactly are you telling me this?” I ask curiously.

“First you are strong and right now I need strong allies for protection. Second based on your appearance you seem to be a novice adventurer. This means that you will need knowledge about labyrinths, locations, jobs and rewards. I can offer that knowledge.”

“So you can tell I'm a novice. Aren't you curious why I was able to kill all of those knights easily?” I ask somewhat seriously.

“To be honest I am, but I also feel that there are some topics that should be left untouched.” Delphi replies calmly.

After her response I don't say anything. If I create ties with her it will save me trouble of learning everything on my own. However, there are risks involved she could betray me or I could run into someone stronger than me that could end my life.

“With what you are asking me knowledge isn't enough of a reward. I could figure everything out on my own eventually or I could purchase the information directly. What else can you offer me?” I ask.

“I do not have much to offer you currently. However, when we reach town I can at least purchase you better equipment and fund your dungeon expeditions. In addition, if you are able to successfully protect me, then I will be yours.” Delphi replys shyly.

Hearing this my mouth almost drops as a begin to glimpse at this woman in front of me. She is about my height with long silver hair down to her butt. Her breasts are voluptuous and her butt is to my taste as well. She has red eyes that stand out and pointed ears. To put it bluntly she is a beauty that stands out in a crowd, unlike Zira.

“Fine I agree but how can I make sure you won't reign on your promise?” I ask seriously. I'm not a greedy person but the risks involved with this mission require definite rewards.

“When we get to the town there is an item we can purchase called a Ring of Intimacy. It is a unique ring that’s appearence can not be duplicated. It signifies who is in the harem of the man who had the same design as the woman's ring. The ring is almost impossible to remove.” She replied seriously almost expectantly.

“Are the rings use in the opposite situation as well?” I ask curiously.

“Yes. However, it is fairly uncommon.” Delphi answered my question.

Hearing this I learned a few things. First, polygamy is common in this world, and is accepted in this country. Second, with that ring it is an almost guarantee on her reward.

“ Are you fine with being part of a harem?”

“Why wouldn't I be? As long as the man is great then it's no different to me if he has one or twenty lovers.” She replies seriously.

“Fine then I agree to your proposal.” I reply.

Seeming relieved she says “Good then I will start explaining things about the world when we reach town. When the time comes I will be joining your party and adventuring with you.”

“That's fine. It's a pleasure to have your assistance Delphi.” I reply.

After that we stop talking, so I decided to look at my status.

Name: Axothle Age: 15 Gender: Male

    Race: Human (Raksuval)

Job: Commoner lv 30, Hunter lv 1, Swordsman lv 1, Adventurer lv 1, Farmer lv 1, Playboy lv 1.

    Skills:

    Passive Skills: [Life Drain] {Raksuval}

    Blessings: [Unlimited Jobs] {Zira} [Job Restriction Release] {Zira}

    Stats: Hp 280/280

    Strength 56

    Dexterity 56

    Vitality 56

    Intelligence 56

    Wisdom 56

    Luck 10.3

    Equipment: Clothing, Copper Sword

Looking at my stats I can say I'm somewhat disappointed by their increase. Luckily I have access to new jobs but it seems they didn't level from that previous encounter. Commoner had low stat increase with a .2 per level on all stats except luck which has only .01. It seems the race stat bonus must be a huge benefit though.

I can also tell that my experience only increase when combat finishes and that's why I only have gained experience in Commoner and not any new classes. I wonder if there is a more detailed view of this screen. My thoughts get interrupted by Delphis voice.

“We’re here at Velda.” Her body relaxes as we get closer to the gate. From this action it seems we'll be somewhat safe in this town.

We pull up to the gate and a guard runs up and says “I need to inspect everyones statuses for wanted criminals.”

Going in a line I'm standing right behind Delphi last place in line. Eldric and the Bull Head Bandits show a green light when they touch the orb and are waiting for us on the side.

Delphi approaches the orb. I can see the guards are ogling at her. I'm slightly annoyed but I can't make a scene or else we won't be allowed in town. Delphi places her hand on the orb and it turns blue, and she is allowed entrance. Finally, it's my turn and my orb turns blue as well.

“Okay since no one is a wanted criminal the entrance tax is 1 silver per person and 2 silver for the Redemption Bandits.”

“Here's the money.” Delphi says coldly and throws him a sack full of coins. The guard almost intentionally fails to catch it and shows anger.

“Are aiming to disrespect a guard! Watch how we discipline you!” He yells and moves forward to slap her. Seeing this action I'm finally pissed off and take action.

Before his hand can reach Delphi I move beside him and grab a hold of his arm. “Now, now, a guard shouldn't be aiming to hit a citizen.” I say coldly putting some force into my grip.

The guards face instantly paled and begins stuttering “I'm S-Sorry I S-Stepped out of line please forgive my actions.”

I give his arm one last bit of force before releasing and saying “Fine I'll just put the issue on your bad eyes but there shouldn't be a next time.”

Getting his arm back he quickly replies “Yes my eyesight has gotten worse recently let me gather these coins and open the gate.” He then scrambled for the coins and fled from us a few seconds later the gates opened.

Me and Delphi return to the carriage, and she lowly says “Thank you for that.”

Hearing this I reply “In the future you will be someone I hold close. I won't let anything happen to you before or after that.”

Hearing that she blushes as the carriage is taken into town, and we find and in for the night.

    Chapter 4
Waking up from a night's rest I notice it's almost Dawn. Getting dressed in my previous clothes I head downstairs to the in a lobby. There I saw Eldric having breakfast. Noticing me he directly calls me over with a wave.

“I see you’re an early riser as well.” Eldric says with a smile.

“Yea it seems that nobody else is in your group though.” I reply with a smile.

“Haha. They are usually up around this time, but they partied too hard last night since it was our last mission.”

Surprised I said “What do you mean by last?”

Hearing this question his smile grow wider and says “Depending on the crime you commit you have to gain enough points to regain your freedom. Escorting Delphi to Velda was the last amount of points we needed for our freedom.”

“Congratulations! What are you going to do now?” I ask.

“Me and the rest are going to become adventure's and continue this type of work. There's not much else ex-redemption workers can do.”

Hearing this I smile and says “It seems we'll be together for a while since that's the same plan I have with Delphi.”

Hearing Delphis name Eldric face turns serious as he grabs my shoulder. “That's right I heard from her last night that you have come to an agreement to protect her. I'm going to say this as a friend but if you need any help let us know she's been kind to us while we were working for her.”

“Also, If anything happens to her then we will come for you first.” Saying that he puts force into my shoulder. It doesn't hurt me but a normal man's shoulder might ache for the rest of the day.

Staring at Eldirc I say “Don't worry I will make sure no harm comes to her.”

“Good!” Eldric says as he releases my shoulder and sits back down. “Let me treat you to breakfast for today as thanks for yesterday.”

    --------------------------------------

During our breakfast everyone else started waking up with Delphi being last. She directly walks towards us and sits down next to me.

“So what are the plans for today?” She asks me.

“Well I was planning on going with Eldric to the adventurer's guild to register and then either explore town or take a request.” I reply.

Thinking for a second she says “How about after we register as adventure's we get you some gear and then enter the beginner dungeon for this town.”

“That sounds good but I don't have much money on me unfortunately.”

“Ah! I forgot!” Eldric says and starts scrambling through his persons. After a second he pulls out a sack and hands it to me. “This is the money we looted off the knights you killed we want the equipment since it's an improvement on our own, so we want to give you all their money.”

“That's fine I say saves me the trouble of carrying around excess gear that I need to sell.” I say with a laugh accepting the sack. Inside there were around 30 silver coins and 80 copper coins with a single gold at the bottom.

“Well let me eat breakfast and I'll head to the adventurer's guild with you.” Delphi says.

“In that case me and the Bull Heads will head out first and get a request or two while the days still early.” Eldric says as he stands up and starts to leave.

After he departs with the rest of his gang Delphi looks at me and says “Is there anything you want to know while you wait for me?”

Shyly I say “Can you tell me about the currency?”

Chuckling she says “there's 5 coins Copper, Silver, Gold, White gold, and Platinum. 100 copper is 1 silver and so on. Anything else?”

“What are the average stats of a beginner?” I ask wondering how much my boost actually is.

“It depends on the persons but usually it's an average of 10 in all stats except luck. I'm going to assume that you know what each stat affects.” She says after finishing her bite of food.

“Yea I can guess on most of them except what all Luck covers.”

“Luck only has assumptions currently. It might increase drop rate and rarity from mobs and gambling odds. However, since the average stat for luck is 1 and it doesn't change much it's hard to judge the difference.”

Hearing this I'm somewhat shocked. I currently have 10x the average amount of luck. Hopefully we'll get some decent from the dungeon then.

“Last thing right now is how does experience for classes work?” I ask. I didn't get that many levels from killing those knights so maybe 5x isn't that much.

“There's two-ways one is in dungeon and the other is outside. 5 monsters in a beginner labyrinth will raise a rank 1 class by one level. A rank 2 class will need 10x that amount with a 3rd need 10x that and so on. It is also important to remember a lower difficulty labyrinth will not increase the level of a higher tier job. Outside of dungeons it's based on stats. If you kill someone with lower stats you gain less xp higher more xp.” She says after finishing her meal. “Let's go the guild.”

Leaving the inn Delphi leads me to the Adventurer's guild which is right next to the beginner dungeon entrance. Entering the building there was a board with papers on the left a staircase to the right and three booths in front of us.

Walking to the far left booth we are greeted by what appears to be a dog girl. She has dog ears and a tail. She smiles at us and says “Welcome what can I do for you today?”

Delphi nudges me and I say “We would like to register as Adventures in a party please.”

The dog girl seemed surprised and said “That's fine please follow me to the testing area. Also, please call me Ann.”

“Ah! My name is Axothle and this is Delphi.” I reply as I follow Ann behind the counter into an open air courtyard filled with training equipment.

“Please wait here as I get the guild master.” Ann says as she leaves the courtyard.

Without anything to do I look around and see some chairs and a man training on some marksman dummies. I look at Delphi and ask “Do you want to go over to the chairs while we wait?”

Surprised Delphi asks “Are you not worried about failing the test?”

“Nope.” I instantly reply “Worrying will only increase your chances of failing so no point in doing that.”

Hearing me she pauses for a second and says “Fine let's go sit down.”

As we reach the chairs and sit down I hear a man's voice and say “Hey! What are brats doing here?!”
    ---------
    Chapter 5.

Turning towards the voice I see a group of 3 men and a Woman. The voice before was from the one in front who seems to be the leader.

“What you don't have anything to say to me? Don't you know who I am?” The man said again.

Staring at the man I can only answer honestly “I have no clue who you are.”

Not expecting that answer the faces of the group stiffen before the main man said “I am John ace of this adventurer's guild! I'm currently working on my 2nd tier job Swordsman!”

Hearing this I'm slightly impressed getting to 2nd tier most of took some effort. However, I'm slightly annoyed, so I said “And you're not the guild master who were waiting for so why should we care?”

Hearing my reply his face turns ugly before looking at Delphi. When he sees Delphi there's a deep look of lust that disgusts me to the point of anger.

“Beautiful Woman why don't you accompany me for a while. I'll make sure you have a decent life as an adventurer if you join my harem and leave this brat.”

Hearing his words my angers almost to the point of bubbling over. I start to move towards him but Delphi stops me and says “I'm sorry if I remember correctly I'm just a brat, so I'll stay with him.”

Hearing this the girl next to John starts yelling “What do you think you're saying! A slut like you should be begging to join his harem!”

This time Delphis face darkened and said “I'd watch what you say or else you might regret it.”

At this time a group was starting to form around us to see what was happening. There was looks of pity towards us which means this is a common occurrence.

The woman continued speaking “What would I regret from calling you a slut! You've probably been with every man in this room you who--”

Before she finished her word I ran towards her at my quickest speed and threw a punch towards her face. When it connected there was a definitive cracking noise which meant that her nose was either broken or completely shattered. She flew a small distance back as well landing face first on the ground.

“Ahh!” Her scream was as shrill as banshees which showed how much pain she was in.

Feeling slightly relieved I walk back towards Delphi while the two thugs near John's side ran over to the girl to help her out. At that time John started to pull out his sword yelling “You Little Shit!”

Before he could completely draw his sword the sound of laughter and clapping brought everyone's attention. Standing next to Ann was a man wearing complete platemail with a greatsword on his back. He walked towards us and said “John I hope you remember the rules of this guild. Drawing weapons while not in the duel area will lead to expulsion.”

“Then I challenge this little shit to a duel!” John yelled. His eyes were almost bloodshot while staring at me.

“You want to challenge someone who just became of age? Think about your reputation.” The man said staring coldly at John.

“ I don't care! He injured my party member he'll duel me or I'll take that little slut away!” John yelled.

Finally, my limits been reached. I stopped the woman as a warning but this asshole didn't get it. Coldly I say “Fine I Accept.”

The man was stunned and said “Are you sure I can't prevent whatever happens in the arena.”

“It's fine.” I reply. Turning towards John I said “Are we going to begin now or later?”

Hearing me John's anger obviously rose as he yelled “Of course right now! Deathmatch Rules winner gets the losers belonging after the loser dies!”

This is even better I thought. An ace should have some decent gear. “Fine I Accept, let's go to the arena now.”

The man sighed and said “Follow me I'll be the judge for this match.”

After reaching the arena me and John get on opposite sides. Staring at me John yells “After I'm done with you I'm going to let everyone play with that little slut!”

He said it again. I sighed. He's dieing.

The man looks at us and says “Begin!”

John begins a sprint towards me and is probably the fastest opponent I've fought so far. He swings his sword towards me and I block it with mine. There some vibrations and my arms a little numb so his strength must be higher than mine. I just know I can't block his attack too many times.

Seeing me successfully block the crowd is surprised. Some of them even start cheering for me to win.

John also seems surprised but quickly hides that and backs away. It's obvious he's faster and stronger than me so how should I deal with this?

John once again strike at me this time he yells “Slash!” I try to block again this time my arm went completely numb and my sword is bent out of commission. It seems that was a skill. I can only rely on my natural weapons now. The only issue is getting close enough for my attack to reach. At this point I can only dodge and look for an opportunity to strike.

Unfortunately, I've been dodging for fifteen minutes and that opportunity hasn't appeared. It will appear though I won't fail Delphi or Zira. At this time John goes in for a stab. This is my chance. I rush towards him.

“Haha Idiot! It looks like you've gotten too tired and have give up. I'll kill you now!” John yells. The man acting as referee has a frown on his face. I look towards Delphi for a second and I see her eyes were slightly red and a dagger was in her hand. Whatever she was planning wasn't good.

Running forward I let the sword impale me through the side. At this point John laughs and says “Accept your fate!” Hearing this I smile and start laughing as I grab his arms.

Hearing me laugh everyone felt a chill down their backs. They must be thinking this man has gone insane. The most shocked was John, he yelled “Let go of me!”

“After I give you this gift!” I respond as I pull him close and dig my teeth into his neck. With all my strength I bet through his neck and rip it out. His blood sprays onto my body as he slowly falls trying to grab his next. I spit out his flesh that in my mouth directly into his face.

The whole audience was silent. The referee quickly yells “He's the winner! Is there anyone with the ability to heal?”

Instantly three people run towards me ready to give me treatment. One of them walks up and says “You can relax now we'll take that sword out once you pass out.”

“There's no need.” I calmly reply. Startled the man was about to say something but before he could I grabbed the blade of the sword that I've been impaled by. With my strength I start pulling the blade out of my body. At this point everyone watches took in this scene and felt admiration and fear in their hearts.

After the sword is entirely out of my body I hold it as I walk towards Delphi. With a smile I say “I won.”

She smiles back tears streaming down her face and says “I know.”

Losing strength I fall onto her my conscious fading into black.

    Chapter 6
I slowly woke up. I wasn't at The arena anymore instead I was on a bed. I don't know where I am. Unfortunately, I can't move completely but I can hear something and my right side is slightly warm.

After what feels like forever I can move my head at least. I look towards my right and I see Delphi resting her head next to my hand. I look towards the noise and I see the man who was acting as referee chatting with Eldric.

I look back at Delphi and stretch my hand out to bat her head. Feeling my hand Delphi woke and instantly put her hands around my neck and yelled “You're Awake!”

It didn't hurt when she hugged me. I guess my Injury was fully healed. I stretch a hand down rub where the wound would be and there isn't even a scab. I also noticed that I was wearing different clothes which had me slightly concerned.

Hearing the noise the Man and Eldric walk towards me. Eldric spoke first and said “I heard the full story, It seems what you said this morning wasn't a joke. However next time bring better equipment.’ He said slightly seriously and slightly joking.

“I'll remember that. Don't use copper as it can be easily bent.” I joke back. Hearing me Eldric slightly smiles and said “I'll go tell the rest you're fine.”

Finally, the man spoke after Eldric left. “We’ve met a few times without introductions. I am Lorain Velda Adventures GuildMaster. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

“I'm Axothle here to take the entrance exam to become an adventurer.” I reply with a smile thinking a joke might be useful in this situation.

He laughs a little and says “ I think you've already passed your exam. I'll fill out the paperwork so when you're discharged you can grab it. Unfortunately you can only be F rank even though you killed our ace.”

“Sorry about that, but he crossed a line.” I reply while looking at Delphi. She's still hugging me almost like she's afraid I'll leave if I let go.

Hearing me talk about her she says “Thank you. But next time please be more careful. I knew you did that for me that why if you lose I'd kill myself too.”

“Don't worry I'll be careful. It's late head back to the inn with Eldric. I have something to ask the GuildMaster.” I say giving her a smile.

“No!” Delphi instantly replied. With a blush she says “I want to stay with you.’

Hearing our conversation Lorain says “Don't worry you can stay but please head down to the in area to get some food. I'll have Ann leads the way.”

Ann walked forward and said “Let's go get him and you some food Delphi.” With that she quietly left the room and it was just me and Lorain.

“Let me start. Was it you who changed my clothes?” I ask.

    “Yes.” Lorain replied calmly.

    “Was anyone else there?”

“No.” He answered instantly which made me believe him.

“Ok. So what do you think?” I ask.

Hearing my question his face turns a little sorrowful before he says “I can see why you don't care about injuring yourself.”

“That's understandable. I hope you can keep this a secret. I'll tell them when I need to.” I reply with a smile. “Now what do you need to talk about?”

Hearing my question Lorain returns to his former seriousness and says “You have killed our guilds ace, following tradition we have to announce you as our guilds ace. However, you are not a member of the Adventurer's guild and I don't think you were aiming for the title.”

“That is all true. Is having an Ace really important though?” I ask curiously.

“Most of the time it's not however, every ten years all adventures guilds are required to send their Aces to a tournament. This tournament will be happening in two years time.”

“Then can't someone surpass John by then and become the Ace?”

“Unfortunately I doubt anyone will be able to in two years. John was a 2nd tier Swordsman for about a year now. Currently we have no other 2nd tier job adventurers.”

Hearing this I'm surprised. I thought there would be at least one person close to John's ability. I guess since I killed him I should take responsibility. “I'll help out but I need to speak some concerns. I want to explore freely, so I will not be in this town forever.”

“That's fine. You can freely travel just show up at least two weeks before the tournament starts.”

“The second thing is I don't want to have forced requests on me that others could do easily.”

“That can be done however if there isn't another team able to do it will you accept the request?”

“It depends on the request as long as it's not too dangerous to my allies then I'll more than likely accept it.”

Hearing me say this Lorain relax and says “That's fine. If you need any help let me know. Ann will take you to see me directly now get some rest.”

With that Lorain left the room leaving me alone. Well since I have time I should check my status since I should get a decent bit of experience since John was stronger than me.

Luckily I was able to unlock more jobs and obtain some active skills. Though it looks like using my sword during the battle increased its level more. Speaking of which I don't have any weapons now. After I get a new weapon I'll have to test Slash to see how effective it is.

Delphi entered the room holding a tray of food. Smiling she brought it over to me and said “Let's eat. Once again is you have anything to ask me now the time.”

Taking the food it looks like a bowl of beef stew. Thinking for a second I have a few questions to ask now.

“Why was it so serious that John was 2nd Tier? Isn't easy to reach?” I ask. Since currently I have many 2nd tier jobs it doesn't seem too difficult to reach.

“You challenged him without even knowing that!” Delphi raised her voice then sighed. “You've been thinking that Commoner is the 1st tier Job. If that was the case then yes it's be easy for everyone to be 2nd tier. Unfortunately, Commoner is considered as a passive job or an in tiered job. It's effects stack with whatever 1st tier job you use.”

Hearing this I finally realized how strong I actually am. I'm strong enough to kill a 2nd tier class without bonuses from even a 1st tier class.

“How do you obtain a 2nd tier class then?” I ask curious.

“A 2nd tier class is an evolved 1st tier class that has reached level 100. The stat bonus of the 1st tier class still remain and there is added to the stats of the 2nd tier class.” Delphi explains to me.

    That explains a lot.

“Thank You.” I say honestly. During her explanations I finished the stew. It was a decent but, had a bit too much salt though. “I think now I want to rest and set out tomorrow.”

“It is night already so let's just stay here for the night.” Delphi responds as she takes our bowls and places the on the table. She turns to me and says “Move over some there's only one bed in here.”

Hearing her I blush a little, and she crawls onto the bed next to me. She's really warm it's comfortable. I slowly fall asleep.

    Chapter 7
When I woke up Delphi was still asleep. She was turned away from me, so I could only stare at her silver hair. I better get up without disturbing her.

After carefully leaving I met some Adventures who told me where I could get a meal. Well I wanted them to tell me, but they insisted on leading me personally. Along the way many Adventures greeted me.

Reaching the guild dining area the first person I noticed was Lorain. He also seemed to notice me and called me over with a wave of his hand.

“Good Morning. What are your plans for today?” He asks me directly.

“Well my first task today is to get new equipment since my sword broker during the fight with John.” I say as a waitress gives me a plate full of eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. Winking at me she says “This one's on the house!”

“Thank you.” I reply surprised. A lot of people at the Adventurer's guild are treating me as some sort of famous figure. Looking at Lorain I ask “Why is everyone so nice to me here?”

Hearing my question Lorain says “It's cause you killed John. Though he was our ace he was still an asshole so a lot of us didn't like him.” Hearing his statement staff and adventurers around us start agreeing with Lorain.

Before I could say anything else Lorain quickly says “Also you don't need to worry about getting new gear. Since you won the death match you can just use John's equipment.”

“There was something like that wasn't there. Did he have any decent gear on him?” I ask curiously. However, once my question came out everyone in the room stopped and stared at me.

Lorain is the first to recover and says “You really didn't know anything about him, did you? Nevermind. His equipment consisted of a silver-steel sword, and some treated shadow lizard leather armor.”

Hearing this I don't know how decent this weapon and armor actually is. However, I can only reply “Thank you, where can I receive this equipment at?”

To my question Lorain gets the nearest staff member and says “Bring John's belonging s here and give it to him.” At his words one male staff member quickly leaves the room accepting the task.

“So you're planning on entering the intermediate labyrinth I'm guessing?” Lorain asks curiously.

“Nope. I'm going to the beginner labyrinth since I haven't entered one before.” I reply honestly without thinking.

This statement caused an uproar with people dropping whatever was in their hands. Lorain even stood up and yelled “What you haven't entered a labyrinth yet!?”

Hearing his yell startled me for a second before I quickly replied “Yea that's right.” This reply caused Lorain to quickly look around and yelled “This information is not to leave the guild no matter what!”

Quickly everyone in the room agreed to not say anything. Confused I ask “Is there something wrong with me not entering a labyrinth yet.”

Lorain stared at me and spoke in a serious tone “Normally there isn't an issue. However, you defeated someone who had cleared five labyrinths three beginners and two intermediate. Do you know what that means?”

“No I don't know what that means.” I reply honestly. Hearing my answer Lorain releases a long sigh.

“At the end of a labyrinth you have are granted a reward. The reward is usually equipment with a low chance of obtaining a skill and an even lower chance of obtaining a useful skill. The higher difficulty the dungeon the better the reward.” Lorain explains. “You beat someone with 5 rewards while having none of your own.’

“Well I'll probably have one by the end of today.’ I reply seriously.

At that moment Delphi entered the room. When her eyes landed on me her face bloomed into a smile. Walking over to me she says “Good Morning.” After that she sits to my direct right.

“Good Morning” I reply. At the same time the male staff returned to the room holding armor, a sack, and a sword. He walks over and gives me the items before leaving. Inside the sack is 25 gold 43 silver and 500 copper coins.

I look towards Delphi and say “ After you finish eating let's buy your gear and head to the labyrinth.”

Hearing me Delphi replies “I already have some gear back at the inn. We’ll head there first then go to the labyrinth.”

“I really wonder what reward you will get.” Lorain says. “Well I've some work to do good luck in the labyrinth.” With that Lorain left.

After about half an hour me and Delphi left the adventurers guild and arrived at the Inn. I waited outside as Delphi entered to grab her equipment. After a few minutes she returned wearing a cloak while holding a bow and said “Let's go.”

I’m excited to head to the labyrinth. First it's my first time going into one. Second that reward sounds nice. Finally, I can get some decent experience!

    Chapter 8
When we entered the labyrinth the first thing Delphi did was take off her cloak. Underneath her clock was tight leather armor. The leather armor complemented her figure from top to bottom. I swallowed some saliva as I stared.

Noticing my stare Delphi blushes a little and says “I don't adventure with others much because of how much people stare.” Hearing this I quickly avert my eyes. However, I was able to hear her whisper “I don't mind if it you though.”

Without speaking after that we started moving deeper into the labyrinth. After a few minutes we reach our first group of enemies. There are three goblins together holding sticks as weapons.

These goblins look as bad as they smell. They have a puke green skin, strands of hair on top of their head, hunchbacked, untrimmed nails, a long nose like a bird's beak, and they're covered in boils some oozing with pus. Their smell is a strong mix of burnt hair and feces.

Wanting to end this quickly I rush in and kill the three goblins directly with one swing. It seems I'm too strong for this labyrinth.

Watching my actions Delphi let's out a sigh and says “how can you be so strong as a novice?”

Turning around I can only smile at her. She sighs again before saying “Well no point taking and detours then, let's just kill our way to the boss room of each floor.”

“How many floors are there in this labyrinth?” I ask. Before she can reply I also ask “Actually what are the difficulties of the dungeons?”

“Each labyrinth had a different amount of floors depending on difficulty. This beginner labyrinth has 7 floors. Each labyrinth is themed for unknown reasons. This labyrinth is humanoid themed and will spawn humanoid creatures. The difficulties of dungeons go: beginner, apprentice, adept, intermediate, expert and finally master.”

It seems there are a lot of dungeons out there. While we were talking the goblins disappeared leaving behind some copper coins.

“We really got five copper coins from three goblins?” Delphi asks surprised. Confused I look at her thinking “Is that too little?”

Noticing my stare Delphi says “It usually takes 20 goblins to get one copper coins to drop.”

Ah. So it was too much. “Well we might just be lucky.” with that statement we continued delving

Into the labyrinth. It took us about ten minutes to reach the boss room. Along the way we encountered a total of forty goblins. They dropped a total of 68 copper coins.

Entering the boss room we are greeted by a group of ten goblins. To put it simply the first floor boss didn't take long.

“Are bosses just swarms of monsters?” I ask curious.

“No in most cases it's usually a monster or two from a higher floor or stronger dungeon. There is also a chance for a unique monster to appear.” Delphi responded as if expecting this question.

The second floor wasn't much different from the first floor until we were there for about thirty minutes. At that time a goblin holding a staff appeared next with a blue and red goblin.

“The red and blue goblins are rare monsters while the staff Wielder is a different job”. Delphi promptly explained.

Rare monsters mean rare drops, so I quickly rushed in and instantly killed all three of the goblins. Sadly it seems they weren't able to put up a fight either.

After a few seconds the red goblin dropped some silver coins while the blue one dropped a potion. Finally, the goblin mage dropped a black crystal.

“Why are you so lucky” Delphi sighed. “The potion is a rare item that can be used to enhance a person's base stats.”

“Oh? Then you take it.” I reply. I doubt I'll ever need them since my stats are already this high.

Delphis eyes brightened as she quickly says “Thank you!” I watched as she carefully put away the potion before turning back and saying “That crystal is a crafting material that drops rarely from goblin mages. It's used to create staves with low power enhancement abilities.”

Crafting? That means I can make my own weapons which will be helpful.

“Are there any requirements for crafting?” I ask.

“Yes there are. The main thing is the blacksmith occupation. I've heard that dwarves have a unique blacksmith job that increases weapon quality further though.”

Hearing that got me excited. I can obtain that job thankfully though I'll still want a dwarf companion to reduce suspicion. Last thing I need is a group of angry dwarves and humans curious about how I got the job.

“Well let's continue” I say. I want to finish this labyrinth today, so we can go out and explore the world.

    “Okay!” Delphi responded energetically.

After a few hours we reached the seventh floor boss room. Inside we saw some Hobgoblins. They look exactly like goblins just larger. However one of the was red while the other two were green.

“The red one is a Hobgoblin Knight. It's stronger than the other two by a decent bit.” Delphi warns.

My first targets are the normal Hobgoblins. Unlike the goblins they are able to react to my attacks. However, when they attempt to block my sword breaks through their defenses. After a few attacks only the Hobgoblin Knight remains.

It seems it's time to test this skill. Swinging my sword I yell “Slash!”. The Hobgoblin Knight is split in two and the floor behind it is also cut.

In total, we killed 350 goblins and 3 Hobgoblin types. Delphi told me Hobgoblins are found in apprentice ranked dungeons. We gained a total of 5 silver and 49 copper coins.

It's now time to receive our benefits from completing the labyrinth.

    Chapter 9
It was time to obtain our completion bonuses. There was a single door in the boss room that led to a small room with a statue in it.

The statue was of a woman with scars over her eyes and six wings on her back. Her wings were tied together with chains. On her face was a sorrowful expression.

“This is Moriyan the goddess of truth and justice. To receive our completion bonus we need to pray to her in this room.” Delphi explained to me.

“So I just kneel here and ask her to grant me a blessing?” I ask curiously.

“That's all that I know to do.” Delphi replied.

With that we both kneel in front of the statue. I closed my eyes. For a while it felt like nothing happened so I gave up and opened my eyes.

I was not in the room with the statue anymore. Instead I was in front of large open air bath. There were roses lined on the left and right side of the bath.

    “So who are thee?”

I hear a faint voice from in front of me. Looking forward I see the woman with scars on her eyes sitting in the bath. Unlike the statue she does not have six wings.

Her hair is crimson and falls down to her shoulders. She is medium-sized in the chest region and currently I can't see the butt currently.

“Does thou not wish to answer?” She asks.

“Sorry my name is Axothle.” I reply.

“How art thou in my domain?” She asks

“I finished a labyrinth and prayed to your statue and that's how I arrived here.”

    “Odd.”

“Is this not normal?” I ask.

    “T’was impossible.” She answers.

After she answers we sit there in silence. I had no questions and was hoping to return but it seemed I had something to do here.

“It seems I can't return.” I say getting straight to the point.

    “So it seems.” She replies.

Another short response. I don't know how to follow up. I also don't want to sit here in silence for another five minutes. What could be forcing me to stay here?

“Maybe I can't leave until I receive your blessings?” I suggest trying to move somewhere in a conversation.

“Maybe. We shall try. Come here.” She says.

The only way to reach her is through the bath.

Without much choice I enter the bath and start walking towards her. After reaching three fourth of the way to her there is slightly resistance from the water but I ignore it.

I am now standing directly in front of her waiting.

“Thou has stopped. Have thou reached a place thou can not cross?” She asks.

Confused I reply “What do you mean.”

Startled she stands up and says “How close is thou to this one?”

Without knowing why I reach out my hand and put it on her face. I say “I am close enough to touch your face. Why?”

Feeling my touch she shudders, but she does not flee. She raised her hand and places it on top of mine saying “It has been a long time since this one has felt another touch.”

After she said that we stood there in silence with my hand touching her face. After what felt like forever she said. “I will grant thee my divine protection.”

    “Thank you.” I reply.

“This one has a favor to ask of thou. Could thou return and touch this one again?” She asks softly.

“I'll try though I don't know how long it will take.” I reply honestly.

“This one has waited a millennium before it can wait another.” She said with a lonely expression.

“Then I promise to return before a decade passes.” I say before losing consciousness.

When I woke up again I was in the room with the statue. Next to me was Delphi praying. While waiting for her to finish I notice the statue was slightly different. One of the binding chains was gone, and she had a happy expression.

I was granted status Modification as my blessing. I wonder what it do-

“Status Modification: Allows for Status screen explanations and adjustment.”

Well that answers my question. Thankfully it's a skill I can use and will need later on. For now, I'll keep it this setup. The main use will be to find out what my skills and titles do.

“Master Commoner- Who though being so common would be so rare? Doubles Luck.”

That was unnecessary. However, having more luck never hurt anyone.

    “Enhanced Vigor- Increases Bedroom Prowess.”

    Well then.

“Is something wrong?” Delphis question breaks my thoughts.

“No there isn't. What blessing did you receive?” I ask curiously.

With my question Delphi released a long sigh. “I received a weapon I can't use.” With that she pulls out a scythe from what seems to be thin air.

Surprised I ask “Where did that come from!?”

Noticing my shock Delphi also shows a shocked expression. “There's an Inventory function on everyone's status screen. How could you not know that?”

Hearing her I realize there was that sort of function explained when I first woke up. Well glad I remembered now.

“So that scythe isn't good?” I ask hoping to change the topic.

“I can't tell. I don't use scythes at all since I'm currently a Hunter. Though by the rust I don't think it's usable.” Delphi explains as she hands me the scythe.

Taking the scythe I begin to examine it. Calling it rusted was an understatement. There was rust on every part of the scythe from the blade to the handle. Feeling the handle there was a place that seemed to have an engraving. However, it's too rusted to understand.

“Well we might as well keep it since any reward is better than nothing.” I say as I begin to hand her the scythe back.

“You keep it. I will never use a scythe since I'm going for Archer jobs.” Delphi rejects the scythe.

With no other option I place in my inventory and say “Let's head out then.”

We leave through the door to the boss room and arrive at the labyrinth entrance.

Seeing it was already night we decided to head back to the inn and rest.

Arriving at the inn I declare “I'll eat first so you can clean off first.”

Hearing my statement Delphi blushes before saying “No we'll clean up together.” With that she pulled me to the room directly.

Still embarrassed she slowly undressed herself in front of me. Without knowing what to do I stand there and stare at her body.

Delphi walked towards me with a bounce in her step. Arriving in front of me she leans in and kisses me. After parting, she stares at me and says “You protected me twice before so now I'll put in my part of the contract.” While saying this her hand was sliding against my crotch.
