    that's a taunting gesture, not a cute one. the sticking out the tongue he's talking about is an attempt of females to be cute, often after having made an embarrassing mistake.

    I think I am referring to the same thing...from the anime~ The taunting is more of a cute type of taunting...

    When saying "stick out the tongue", East Asians imagine this:

    with the main differences being that they stick their tongue out of their firmly shut lips, that they smile at the same time, that they make cute eyes and that they usually accompany it with a cute pose.
    They seem to have another way to say "stick out the tongue" when they mean to mock someone (the one children and childish people make by sticking the tongue straight out while oftentimes making a "bleeeegh" sound).

    You have to take into account that 1) they have a different culture with different conventions (the traditional way to say "yes" and "no" with the head is reversed there compared to here, but nowadays many people use the western convention) and 2) like they said, you have selected basically the worst example to compare with.

    Anime caracters have 2D tongues,you can see they look just like a piece of paper(their tongues i mean),right?there is no 3rd dimension to it lol.

    OP, you talk about it as if they are dogs with their tongues hanging out all the time, it does not work like that, its a thing of the moment. Try and give examples since I dont remember CH girls doing it to any such degree.

    Also, talking about something, and searching for ugly pictures does not prove a point.
