I play, though its been a couple months since ive really been playing. Got a bit tired out of doing it daily.
You start off with a few great ones, you just need to awaken them. there is a bear, he turns into ramagos, who is nicknamed ramagod by players. He clears many of your boss fights for you almost solo. You also start off with a magic knight, who awakens into lapis. She is your farmer, you utilize her to level up low level monsters for power up uses. The fire hellhound is a glass cannon, but he is very good for early on.
I had tons of good monsters just never got any natural 5* monsters. I had awoken and gotten 5-7 monsters to 6* don't remember exactly but natural 3-4* monsters get slaughtered end game with out having a few natural 5* monsters able to be added to the team.
Not really, most of th e best monsters are not natural 5* Most of the natural 5* ar eactually sub par, they are decent but nothing special. The heavy requirement is on getting the right runes at high levels. You need the right stats with the right bonuses. Such as ramagos, you need to get more hp on him, while energy gives a 2 set bonus, you also need the right energy runes to maximize the effect. Then you need to spend all you can on getting the right runes to +15 as well as upgrading attack skill levels by using power-up monsters of the same type. i.e hellhound into hellhound.
Join a guild that can win guild battles and accumulate some guild points. You can either buy ifrit pieces with them or buy legendary scroll pieces. those are your better ways of getting a nat 5 or decent mon. Ifrit pieces guarantees you a nat 5 so i suggest you start from there. Might take a while but its worth it
Eh? Disagreed, just the base stats already make most natural 5* the best summons of the game... Not to say that the others aren't good though, shannon is kind of a staple for giant farming, and fire vampire is just ridiculously amazing, but... Most natural 5* are incredibly useful, and not subpar... I don't think anyone uses Ramagos at late game for example, though it's quite useful at low levels for sure. I don't play the game anymore though, but I still talk to people that do. Oh, and not sure about it, but I think this is better fit for the Gaming Discussion thread, not Community Games...
Guardian player here. Surprising to even see this thread on this forum. First off, you can reach up to top 1000 or so with no natural 5 stars, you simply need good nat 4s. With solely nat 3s, which is highly unlikely if you already have competitive runes and can complete ToA normal, you could probably reach around top 10k before feeling real struggle. Honestly nat 5s are only needed to compete in very high end arena in the guardian range, and even then I think it'd be possible to make do with nat 4s, but you would need some absolute crazy runes to pull that off. The game is very generous to f2p players with units to complete all game content. Veromos is a gift from com2us to help with all facets of the game, Theomars is a fantastic damage dealer still used by top-tier players, Panda is great for raids, and with the new Homunculus you can tailor him to either ToAH cc, AoE speed nuker, or raid brander. @Estarossa- Different elements for each monster makes a huge difference and makes or breaks a unit. For instance a Lushen (Wind Joker) compard to Sian (Water Joker) is basically heaven and earth. This simply cannot be compared. *Edit*- And I'd like to point out the nat 5 summon rate is absolute shit, the chances are abysmal. I started playing from release and it took me about 15 months for my first nat 5. Honestly don't expect any unless you've been playing for quite some time.
Rama will suit you almost all the way upto level 9s but there are quite a few decent variants of natural 5* but aside from the primary element their best in, the rest are definitely sub par compared to other choices.
