anyone remember the little girl from ch1 who helped Dean to get to the orphanage? I first thought she might be Jenny but now I think she may be the inner wall female who bailed him.

imo she knows that Dean is from "god era" becz why a little girl from inner wall went to a slum region.maybe dean's family have left some runes that he will awaken 300 years later but i don't think that will be the case.
Also i am wondering that by absorbing those legendary marks Dean's lifespan may increase?Since in some chaps it was told that splitters lifespan is quite long compare to humans and if that is the case doesn't that mean there will be some 'Old undying s in inner wall?

 

The inner wall doesn't like the steam gun. It's too dangerous to nobles who are squish nuggets. Therefore they're basically transfering him to the dark church as an elder and the steam gun will be like the inferno clan's stuff. When he got arrested one of his servants, kroen, basically sang like a canary about what he's been up to (thankfully he didn't know much) so he was hurt, but it didn't really affect anything.

There might be undying ppl, i didnt think of that~ but if someone was that old, you'd think him coming up with one of the corner stones of the industrial revolution, then naming it exactly what it was called before might tip them off...(it's the first "engine" since the god age) he's basically a suicide agent atm, they wouldn't have done that had they known he's a god era person.
as far as dean's lifespan, I'm kind of still worried about the ice blood thing. Sometimes i feel like i seem to care more than mc does. ^_^;
Like, he has 2 years to live and his arm and stomach are still frozen!

 

I think in one of the translated chapters, Dudian was against introducing weaponized gunpowder (it was during the second hunt for splitter with the shark-harpoons) because of the same reasoning: if he introduced weaponized gunpowder, the status quo would shift, normal people with access to guns can use this weapons to spread chaos.

So apparently, this happened, but it wasn't caused by 'general populace' rebellion, but aristocrats being 'uneasy'.

What are the status of the "Devil's Cradle"?

I remember Kroen was supposed to be a part of it?

Well, he didn't seem to do to good of a job, since he's basically doing stuff like Nicolas.

Meh, i dont think the author forgot about them, i think that he was basically just setting them up as plan Bs... and basically he probably just wanted his bros to have good lives; much like how all these nobles keep calling in favors from people they helped, he wanted to help his friends so they'll be in position to catch him if he falls... ah, cradle.. i just got it xD

 

Honestly, there is too much of this betrayal bullshit. I mean how many times has he been betrayed by now?

First off was that dick of a hunter trying to use them as cannon fodder. Then it was that Hunter's sister and her group. Then it was the assassination by Jenny's family. Then it was getting jailed and being betrayed by Jenny.

Just keeps going on and on and on. It's getting kind of boring and repetitive by now. There is literally no happy shit at all. I know the whole story revolves around pessimism and scheming but there can be mini arcs that at least show him enjoying Life or something.
