Dont have an instagram acc. but i think its true because it was on the nuf tags for the kings avatar novel and he/she said so in his/her instagram post.

 

after seeing the animation, i say it's better to not make a drama

 

Isn't the obvious answer that they will skip most of that and just turn it into a love story?
This story really isn't suited for live-action unless you have an obscenely huge budget, argueably not really suited for animation either even if that works a lot better than a live-action.

 

That sucks balls. Why TKA then? It's not even a full romance thing

 

A popular brand to milk, makes it easier to advertise than a completely new story.
Honestly got no idea if it is confirmed that they will turn it into a love drama, I'm just assuming they will since there is next to no chance that they will manage to do a serious adaptation even if they were to try.

 

if they really choose actor from Love o2o, then it just obvious they hitching a ride on the wave. as @Nimroth said, milk it while its still popular.

think of it like this, recommendation. when someone watched Love o2o or read its novel, and liked at least one, they would usually go and ask around "is there anymore like this movie/novel, or this actor?". what do you think ppl will answer then?

Who would be Ye Xiu's partner if it become romance?Sure Mucheng?she his sister in all but blood. Chen Guo? She would sooner kill YX ..Tang You? She saw him as a goal at most...

Love 020 is good and the actors are great especially Yang Yang. I heard they will be bringing When Shuang as a female lead too..
