    Yup, it boggles me all the time. Scum Villain System should have prettier art since it's set in one of your stereotypical xianxia-esque worlds, but not many people want to take on the challenge for some reason. T^T

    Can you tell me how (the incidents) the MC eventually ate the ML's heart? How does he save/rescue/enslave the ML?

    THERE ARE MANYYYYYY~

    -that smile in the carriage that started it alllllll~
    -upcoming 2 chapters in translation with MC's compromising position as a sort of sexual awareness awakening. LOL
    -demon realm invasion: at a critical moment, MC takes a hit for the ML
    -dream demon intro: MC takes another hit for the ML but is nice to him. After leaving the dream, ML hugs MC!!!
    ...and so on.

    I love how the ML's so sticky and MC can never bring himself to be anything less than nice to the ML if he can help it (I curse the system for the angst...).

    Hey... I've been trying to read the MTL but have no clue what's going on. Why did the MC blow up his own soul again? How exactly did it save the ML?

    Something about ML's demonic power getting out of control. Don't remember how it saved ML, but before falling off, MC said: "Back to you", so him falling off the building is in return for pushing ML off the cliff

    MC blew up his soul both to run away and to save the ML. The ML's cultivation was going nuts because his 'sword' is unorthodox and honestly a double-edged sword (lol my stupid and unintentional pun). It's really powerful but also ML runs the risk of going crazy or deviating from the correct cultivation path.

    For a cultivator (esp. one who's reached the immortal stage) to blow up their soul, a huge amount of power is released. Righteous and Evil sect powers are opposites and their powers likewise affect each other. You can think of the MC as releasing a huge amount of 'holy' power by blowing himself up and focusing all that energy into the ML to cleanse the impurities in his 'demonic' power.

    The 'back to you' part is confusing in MTL lol. Going to have to wait till I translate that part to make better sense of it.

    I'll translate it when I get there. ^_-

    Our MC actually ends up listening to the song to 1) information gather and 2) find an excuse to stall the enemy long enough to escape. He comes out super traumatized though lol.

    I don't know if it was my post that you read, but when the two sects' younger generation was breaking out into a fight, MC randomly pick up a cat, threw it at them, and pretend that his cat is running away from him, making the kids stop in fear they'll harm the cat and the MC
