Lol yeah. This novel is a pretty even mix between so sweet you'll get diabetes, angst, sadness, humor, and action. Good thing it's definitely a happy ending for our MC and ML. XDD

Hello. I have only recently joined NovelUpdates, after lurking it for some time.

I would like to thank you,scriptor, for your translation of the Scum Villain's self-saving system. I am really enjoying reading it. Please continue translating it.

 

Yeah he finds out the first time MC "dies" in front of him. Ning Yingying was the one to tell him. I don't recall the exact chapter but it was after he finished grieving over the ravine scene and had returned to the sect. He called the author over n then blurted out his name which shocked the author n then got him to suspect that the MC was a fellow "comrade"

 

How did NYY knows that MC was the one who helped them?

 

MC was the only one strong enough in the entire peak to pull off that move w/ leaves, so process of elimination. I'm guessing ML never gave it much thought, but if one thinks about it, it's pretty obvious.

It's ML who figures it out rather than Ning Yingying lol. He was sharp enough to figure out that only MC could make that sword scar when practicing and picked up those leaves he used (Ch. 4). This is why the system gives our MC OOC point deductions -- our ML figured it out. XD

In terms of character, our ML has been through a lot and won't trust easily, despite being a pure white bun right now. This leaf incident is one of many things that leads him to ultimately trust our MC. It's why the abyss incident when MC has to push ML off very, very sad. Because the only person he trusts is also the person who (seemingly) betrays him... And the signals keep getting mixed up because MC seems bad but keeps saving ML at key moments. Only much later do MC and ML sort it out tough love is hard to understand. LOL.

I can't remember which chapter the author shows up lol. Straight MTL makes it difficult to tell and I haven't gotten there yet in translating. I will tell you that our author is transmigrated into a sort of a mob character. XDDD

While your enthusiasm is very much appreciated, please don't actually drop. One less of enthusiastic translator like you, is one less chance of a novel being translated.

what happened to the fake jade the mc picked up that used to be the ml's?

I laughed so hard when I found out what happened to that fake jade.

Okay, so it has really strong effects and MC keeps saving it for the worst case scenario. The worst case scenario that MC actually pulls it out for is at the very end of the novel when the ML's cultivation goes nuts. Unfortunately, it takes way too long to pull it out (wait time of like 1/2-1 hr I think), so everything is resolved by the time the system plops it out. You bet the MC was p-ssed off at that. XDDD

 

So the jade was in a space bag or something? I thought MC would put something as important as that on his person all the time

 

Yup. The jade went into the system's specific storage space for props like that. So it's technically on our MC at all times.

 

Yet, what's with the delay? Was it on purpose or was there some kind of connection problem?

 

The system was being a troll again lol. That's one reason why our MC was super outraged at how late it came out. XDD

 

at least it came out ...was the ml happy when he saw it?

It came out after they finished. Ya know, doing the do violently and realistically as it goes with a clueless berserk virgin. LOL

ML was indeed happy to see it again. It's kind of low-key happy though, ML was more happy over the MC agreeing to stay with him forever and ever. XDDD

...that sounds like a proposal doesn't it? Except with a jade pendant instead of a ring.
