I think it's possible to obtain singular 9-leaf fire, water, earth, metal & wood Dao Fruits but being part of a set they would be inferior to a unified 5-Element Dao Fruit and the same with 4-Creation, the unified sets being equal to Great Daos.

 

Ancient Fey can probably do something like that: i.e. Nine Tribulations Nine Neonate is a master of all 5 elements and 4 nature Daos, just like the 7-colored Phoenix is.

I'm not sure humans or regular Fey can though; studying that many Daos to the level of 9-leaf is probably impossible.

 

He doesn't have to anymore but he still needs to be at a certain pace to gain access to more of the palace. Gaining the highest acknowledgment of that dao tree got him some wiggle room

 

Honestly speaking YY could even just forget about AYL, FRL, and even the PYSP. Even every single dao except for major destruction. After those are all powerful techniques but compared to the asura dao. It's all just floating clouds, if the palace doesn't accept YY then the palace lost out on someone destined to become the lin ming of tmw.

 

And that's only after the Sword Spirit was cutting corners. Still have to fulfil the before 100yr condition so they can officially give him access and ownership or they'd feel like they're pissing on their pervious owner's Will.

 

Yi Yun still needs PYSP and Sword Spirit; where's he going to get a better sword than the PYSP owner's sword after reforging? That's an Ancient Era weapon, those aren't easy to find even as an MC.

 

That's a stupid path. More dao means you have a better understanding of the source law of the universe. Ignoring all dao means he'll have a far harder time gaining insights and breaking through. The very premise of forgetting about his masters is ridiculous since he's already obtained all the benefits.

It's just about the concern of the PYSP owner item or the fey heaven. But none of those things are very important compared to finding out more about lin ming's wife. The purple crystal, divine tree, and the asura dao. Fundamentally those three things are the most important things to YY. Pure yang, sword, and space-time are all nice additions but like the saber and yin dao, they are just supplementary.

 

You can say they're supplementary but they're his primary means of combat. He doesn't have enough energy to spam major destruction attacks all day long. Therefore they're very important from a practical standpoint. Not to mention that his strongest weapon is still a sword. Forget about space dao? Does he have a destruction dao movement technique that can match the space dao?

 

All of Yi Yun's Dao are merged into the 10k Demon Wheel of Existence so it's kind of pointless to talk about de-emphasizing his non-origins Dao. They're already there when he uses it.

And as @Vincent1873 is saying, it would expend massive amounts of Yuan Qi if he just continuously made giant 10k DWEs to just spam at everything; he'd run empty pretty fast.

The 10k DWE is also a weaponized Dao in terms of the way the runes create the wheel; it's way more efficient to launch 10k DWE with a weapon than to just create it without, and previous owner used his Spear to launch what we could assume is his strongest version of the 10k DWE; the same is true of Yi Yun using the Saber array + PYSP owner sword.

I just hope TMW doesn't gets as bad as MW was at the end. The ending battle with the final bad guy was the worst battle sequence ever. Also, in MW laws and domains didn't mattered a bit in the latter part of novel. I hope CC wouldn't do the same with TMW.

Time for a sword boost?

 

Too low level. Even if it isn't, the sword tip is still needed to "glue" it back together. The solution is to buy lots of it 'just in case'.

 

I was thinking the same. He will need at least 2 more 'doses' of that. One to repair the cracks of each half of the sword and one to glue then together. Who knows? Maybe this thing might even merge the giants blood onto the sword and make it even stronger than it was. It is a natural treasure we are talking about, after all.

 

This should at least strengthen the broken sword though even if it can't change it that much.

The main problems are 1) he needs the sword tip, and 2) the rust on the sword is from a bronze giant's blood (basically a god's blood).

It'd be interesting though if this could let the bronze giant's laws in the rust sort of merge more easily into the sword.
