    So I'm not sure how well it would work, but since it seems that they can only post things you put out publicly, what if you put like a 1 cent paywall on your site or some other incredible small amout, so that most people can still see the chapters relatively freely, and post the "free" chapters like a month later or something? I know its probably more trouble then its worth but im tired of seeing Quidan take advantage of WW. I've even made it an effort to not read anything on their site because i don't like them.

    I agree.
    Qidian crossed the line. They aren't any better than those other aggregator sites which steal and rehost translations.

    Those aggregators aren't allowed here on NU, so I think NU staff should consider banning Qidian.

    Damn, this is some straight up bullshit that's going on. Hopefully QI realizes the error of their ways and backs down, but we all know that's not going to happen unless they're forced to. Wishing the best of luck to Wuxiaworld.

    Yeah... Qidian... what else to expect of them but the lowest of the low. Is there still anyone who beleives they will uphold 'good quality of translations' and 'not introduce a paywall' for their novels? If so, then please lend me 1mil $, I promise to give them back... someday... lol.

    Qidian is an aggregator site, and it should be removed from NU.

    QI isn't awake yet. This is not China/North Korea which are both same IMO. Dictatorship!
    Let me tell you what happens when you really try to monopolize the market. You may try and even win against WW since they have to fight against you and your corrupt system of law. But, what will you do when someone just copies your shit on something like wattpad/ just legally host it with all the Ads like torrent sites.
    Good luck taking them down. The entire western media, music, porn, and publishing industry have been trying for a decade. Still torrents survive so I hope someone fucks you all.

    This is the reason why QI never bothered me much, because irrelevant of what they do if they piss people of then their gonna get screwed. But this was a dick move though.
