So...
Uhh, ijust noticed I've been reading CN for almost three years (I HAVE AGED!)...

And I am yet to figure out genres I'm most interested in...

So far, I've been into Transmigration, Cultivation, Ancient China, Martial Arts, Xuanhuan, Medicine, Tradition&Culture, Military, Imperial Life, Slice-of-life, Entertainment World(like the music industry and actors), Business, Tragedy, Zombies(yes, it's out of nowhere but still), Dimensions, Psychology (oh I'd love it even if it contains just a small psych in it!), Mystery, Humour(don't care what type), Modern Tech(cause I know nothing of this thing), Online Games(oh I know absolutely nothing of this!!!), MMORPG(I know it's part of online games but I'm placing it separately!), Arts(like painting), Philosophy(where I can get some words of wisdom!), and FOOD(give some recommendations where there is a complete recipe of a certain meal please!), ...

I explore genres... Especially on some worldy views also to expand my understanding on the world and the people (as I have low EQ, I've noticed)...
....

But one thing...
Sometimes, I'm not 'into' the story...
Like I'm only for the plot or the gist of the story...

If the story is written well, the plot is done beautifully, I'd read it till the end...

But if I have learned of the plot(thank you spoilers!), and the story is written quite sloppily, I'd drop the novel...

There is this one novel that I really enjoyed reading...
But the plot goes awry, I kinda got lost, so I dropped it...
Another, I did enjoy about a quarter of it but I wanted to read ahead so I consulted the spoilers forum first, but some reliable spoilers showed their insights and some spoils which somehow affected my views on the novel, so I dropped it...

Some keen eyes people managed to spot things I can't and give a decent argument on something and it actually convinced me(even if it wasn't the spoilers' intention) so I used another perspective to analyze the novel, and it did have some questionable things in it (so if either drop it or give it some time before I read it again)...

I love reading because it has some awesome characters... Who cares if they're fictional! They have their own minds which interests me... But if the plot goes down miserably, I'd just drop it further...

Who cares if it has great characters! So what if it's made by a famous author! I only read for reading's sake and if the plot doesn't suit me, lemme drop it...
I don't know the authors of the books/novels I've read (yup! Not a single one!)... But I know the titles of the books and is now being piled up in the Emperor's study my reading list (sorry I was sleepy that time and was just pressing the keys)...

(And am legit sleepy! *yawns* My post doesn't make sense at the least bit!!! *sigh*)
