Once in a while my mom would come up with these weird and gross concoctions she would call food. They would be of the most randomest things. Not all of them were disgusting, but most of them were. For example, she once made a dish out of this vegetable and it tasted like the smell of cut grass. It was pretty bad and she made it not only once, but twice!
Oh and you know her responses when we tell her that the food isn't good? She would say that it was delicious and that while we're eating them with a frown, she would be smiling. Deep inside, me and my sister knew she didn't like it either. She would also drag my dad into it toosaying that he also loved it and said it was delicious. (poor him, he also had to eat it too)
Yesterday, my mom made her worse dish yet. So a couple of days ago, we went to an uncle's house for a birthday party. He had this tree of some fruit which he said was super good in soup and good for the throat. Then he gave my mom a bag full! So my mom made a soup and added who knows what. And the result? You would get a strong scent of grape flavored medicine. Yeah, it smelled like that but more bitter, yet it also smelled sweet. The taste? I don't remember, and I chose to not remember. Actually, i dont think it was that bad. BUT OH GOD THE AFTERTASTE
Although i cant be certain that it was that fruits' fault for the taste as my mom was saying that it could've been this other ingredient that could've made it like this. Oh and my mom is still making me drink it till there is no more. She made alot
So why am I telling this story when it happened yesterday? Well thats cause i didnt drink it at all during dinner and then hid in my room afterwards. (was totally only allowed to do that since there was a guest at home) i couldn't get out of it today
