Tears keep on dripping.

I shouldn't be crying.

Drip drop drip drop

I am not unhappy. I have all that I need and even quite a bit that I merely want.

Why, then, do my tears persist?

Sliding down my face, uncontrollably, the tears don't stop.

Drip drop drip

Alone, I cry. In a corner far removed from any who might investigate, silent tears run down my face.

Its not that no one would want to investigate.

Drip drop drip

Rather... I wouldn't be able to explain even if they might want to comfort me, and then chose to investigate.

So... its better to not let them know. This way, there won't be any of the inevitable frustration when, in the end, none of us know why I cry silent tears away from anyone who might want to comfort me.

No one would understand.

Oh. No one, huh. How... lonely.

Drip

As a final tear streams down my face, I smile and raise my face up towards the window. Dawns sunrays hit my face and I think...

Oh, what a wonderful world.
