Time was crawling, Cas felt.
Only if I could kick all these assholes out, smack the organizer, throw guards off, she sighs, alright let's be sweet and cute.

Maybe that might attract someone, she thought, but everyone was moving pass her without even giving a glance. Each second it made her blood boil.

Only if- she went back to her peaceful thoughts, but they were soon disturbed by a guy in formal black trousers and shirt.
"How much?", he asked with a cocky face.
Oh, I want to punch that - No no, and she calmed herself down.
For some reason, her fingers decided to act without her brain and she pointed to herself.

The man had black eyes, deep black with nothing visible inside the pupil, while his forehead was broad and hairs dark brown were curled back.

He took a few glances around and stepped forward. Then he leans over to her left ear and says with a voice which didn't match the face at all: I don't think any amount of money would be able to buy you, my lady.
The way he emphasized "my lady", caught her off guard, and she smacked him.
"Don't flirt with me", she said, with a face half flushed red and half irritated.
For a second everything stopped, everything. Men, women and kids were staring at the couple ,waiting for something to happen.

Two guards who saw the commotion stepped closer and asked, "Is there something we can help you with, ma'am?"
"Yes, you can buy my painting", she said with her most charming face.
But, as you would expect, the simp guards to be wooed by the vixen was exactly what didn't happen.
These guards, as we are unaware of, went through rigorous training to avoid being caught in situations like this.
Meanwhile, both of the guards looked at each other and gave a nod.
Taller one says, "I would like to buy the frame for €20."
"But you can buy it whole for €15!", she roared in disbelief.
Guards took nervous glances at the painting and said, "I think the frame ... is quite nice"
Hearing this, the man who had just got smacked started laughing hard. He laughs like an overlord with my hands imprinted on his left cheeks, she thought irritatingly.

Afraid of Cas's glares, both guards decided it was in their best interest to run.
"So, How much?", the man asked again.
"€15", she said sulkily.
"€25, it is, then".
Don't look down on me.
" Don't you pity-", before she gets to complete her statement, the guy says "Shush".
With a sigh, Cas picks up the painting and signs it at the back, "Cassandra".
"I'm Sean", he says with placing a hand forward for a handshake. Cas shakes hands and says, "I'm Cassandra, everyone calls me Cas".
"So-"
"No, so", interrupts the girl.
"The painting looks inspired by impressionism", Sean says, staring at the painting.
"Hmm? Just a bit I think, but yeah."

The painting depicted a scenery of a waterfall with some kids swimming and playing at the base of it. Does she realize how beautiful the painting is, Sean thought, chuckling to himself.
"I don't think it was so bad, that everyone was ignoring it", Cas said while picking her things up.
"I know", and again he intentionally did that, she thought. Those two words suddenly made her feel calm and safe with a person who knows things.
"A coffee?", Sean says with an expressionless face to avoid making himself look like a creep.
Cassandra stares him in the eyes and takes a glance at her clock.
"Alright, but let's first get our transaction registered"
"Mm", he nods.
It started with a coffee, then it went to wine, and now the both of them were now crashing in a club.

"I am sorry to smack you", Cas said whining, and Sean just nods.
"AYO, damn boy. Pour me one more", and Sean's eyes went wide rest in peace my pocket, you will be remembered.
The bartender was a sheepish guy, and looked inexperienced in handling drunk ones.
"Which one would you like to have, ma'am?", He asked with as much as courtesy he could muster up.
"Pour her a French one", Sean said with a smirk.
"S'il vous plait, sexy monsieur, versez pour moi", Cas said with a wooing smile. Hearing this, the boy went still, and his red face was unable to hide the fact he understood it. Still, he pours the wine, with leftover confidence.

"Take me home", Cas says while touching Sean's arm.
As you see, our gentleman has been caught in a serious situation and since our story is full of magical hands, within a few moment Sean grabs Cas's wine cup and gulps it down.

"Country roads, take me home, to the place I'll be...", he sings in a loud, uncaring voice.
"Dum-ash", Cas sulks again. After a few moments she looks up, leans a bit and whispers "Parents aren't at home".
"So, go out and find 'em", Sean says with an expressionless face.
A boyish bartender who was eavesdropping the conversation cracked up. She took a glance at both of them and said, "Ah, damn you guys".
"Alright, let's go to my place", Sean said.
Again, Cas stared him in the eyes with the judging look, later she says "mhm", nodding.

As both of them were moving out, the lovely bartender was waving hands, shedding croc tears and shouted "GOOD LUCK", loud enough to let everyone stare at the couple, forcing them to quickly run.

They took a taxi, and Sean had to prevent Cas from flirting with the driver.
"I want to reach home in one piece...", he said with a face that wanted to cry out I'm still young and unmarried with no kids.

They some safely reached the apartment and Cas noticed it was very clean.
"Very clean", she blurted out.
"You haven't seen my room. It's a mess", he said with a chuckle on his face.
He stood in the hallway and started introducing her to the home, "We have two bedrooms, each one with its own washroom, and that's the kitchen", he pointed to the spacious place at the other side of the hallway," if you feel grumpy and want to snack at any time".
Cas only smiled and gave a nod.
Meanwhile, he took one of the hanging picture, and placed Cas's painting on its place.
"Do you think it will look good here?", he asked while spreading his arms, pointing to the surrounding hallway.
"Yeah, but it isn't that good to be -",
"Shush", He did it again she thought," Let me show you your room", and pushed open one of the door.

He made a gesture of ladies first, but himself stood at the door. Noticing that she was comfortable in the room, he decided it was best to leave, "With this my lady, I'll go to my room".
"You dumbass, with a drunk girl at your place, do you really want to play gentleman?", she roared in irritation and glared at him.
"There are no gentlemen on the bed, though.", Sean said with a wolfish grin.
"So be it", Cas said with a resolve.
"So be it", and he repeated after her.
He closes the door and sings,
" Almost heaven... West virginifh", and she smacks him with a pillow again.

@Hoouuujae60 Old songs ? yep yep. Since we are sharing em, I think Bob Marley’s Is this love?, Animals’ Don’t let me be misunderstood, Such a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong (I don’t know if he only did the cover or if he composed it), Ben E King’s Stand by Me( this one was my uncle’s favorite, I grew up very close to him, so it instantly became my favorite too), Dire Straits’ Ride across the river, and lemme slip in one classic too , Beethoven’s Archduke Trio Scherzo(I accept my inability to listen to the full one).
and that’s what happens when you get along with me, I go all out.

@Stephane right, honestly I quite like old songs like this for example, than some new songs like now...I mean not saying all but I think old songs carry more meanings than some songs at this time that only ever repeat the same words or sentences over and over again, not that I think its bad, just my preference...

John Denver's "annie's song" and "leaving on a jet plane" are also some of my favs~

@Hoouuujae60 I only found it few years ago. The thing with the song is, that it makes you ache for something that you have never experienced, sure you have been never there in West Virginia like me but still the song makes you feel like you wanna be there too.
