Goddamit!! Those damn cliffhangers!
I recently encountered that cliche cliffhanger where character A is hiding something from character B. At the very end character A thinks "I can't keep lying". They say "Character B, I have something I need to tell you"... Guess you'll find out if they say it, NeXt ChAptEr!!!
After reading that you thank the novel gods that you have another chapter saved up to binge. You open the next chapter... and they get interrupted! Or they chicken out! Or they very logically decide not to say it.
However, you are just left there screeching about how you were fooled! Even though you know deep down inside that this was going to happen, you still feel fooled and tricked.
And here I am crying tears of blood while writing my frustration on a blog. :blobtriumph: Time to read the rest of that chapter.

Be like mee~ I ditch them and find new novels then come back (if I remember) a few years later :blobsmirk: You’ll most probably find that they’re complete. Or you’ll forget, and save yourself the heartbreak of a cliffhanger.
I mean personally I feel like it’s from hanging off a cliff to suddenly growing a pair of wings to soar to the heavens, freed from mortal restraints(greed for new chapters).
Either that or you could go watch YouTube vids idk why I’m even saying all this

@celleit I was doing that and now I'm reading the saved up stash. Every day the foreboding feeling of waiting for new chapters becomes stronger and stronger.

Argh, cliffhangers kill me! I save up lots of reading materials so I don't run into them so much. It's so frustrating sometimes.
