Before the dark ages of fire,
there lived a world of grey ash.
This was a world where there was no concept of mortality,
a world where all were gods and life was a still.
Then the ancient predecessors of man found the kindling of the worlds hear,
and with it they ended the world of ash and created the age of fire.
But with fire came a world of life,
and life will always end in death.
Yet a curse was made by the men who became gods,
as their age was dying.
The dark battled the light,
and the world was filled with the ash of fire.
Great firestorms raged across the land,
bolts of light struck the dark,
but none of them worked to stop it.
A man born in dark,
will forever live to see a light that may never be.
