"im blocking you"
From another time and space three words came crashing at me.
Stunned, I stared at them. Not that I didn't expect them. But not so soon. Not yet...
How should I feel now?
Anger? Pain? Shame?
Sadly enough, I didn't feel any of them.
Instead, I felt helpless.
There was no way this conversation could be continued anymore.
The one in front of me had turned around and turned his back to me.
He didn't want me to look into his eyes. To know how he felt.
Well, then...!
I looked into the messages. I must find out how it came to this.
Then I saw it.
The one straw that broke the horse's back.
"You had no right to look into my personal messages."
What fucking bullshit did I write?!
There was nothing "personal" in a website. Every bit of information you submitted willingly and every bit of information that was collected from you- these were all 'data'. The Privacy Policy never prohibited the admin from looking into the content a user submitted to a site.
It was not like breaking the seal of a document and opening it. The document already lay wide open!
And there was no fucking way that I could accuse someone of anything without some solid proof!
Oh God! What had I done!
Having administered law myself for all these years, how could I act so baseless?
I was like, to quote his words, "a flippin' five-year old", throwing a tantrum!
How pitiful I had been!
I am so sorry!
I want to tell him that I was so wrong!
I want to be forgiven!
If I say I was wrong, will you forgive me now?
