Ignore this if you want, sorry for anyone who got notifications. I'm just going to store any journal entires on here since it might motivate me to keep recording things...

I'll go backwards in time until I get bored. And I won't edit anything so it's likely going to just be garbage like what I usually post.

Today (Saturday):
I had heard my dad let slip last night that he hoped today "would be a productive day" so I had to get out of there as fast as possible before I was dragged off to do some random manual labor for free. Last week he had subtly forced me into moving a fair amount of construction rubble to the dump a 10 minute drive down the highway, and wasted 3 hours of my time without prior warning (he kept giving me minor tasks of 'just one more thing' until they grew into a huge project for the day), so I had to make sure I could spend my day off this week getting the things I needed done. I bagged off some old clothing and went off to the city for the rest of the afternoon. I got myself a Costco membership so I could get gas 5¢ cheaper than anywhere else (I live 30km away from the city so I drive a lot), then I washed my car at the self wash. I wish I could have found a bunch of kids looking to wash my car for $20 somewhere, but no luck today. I ended up doing the final scrub with one of the old shirts I had brought along since I didn't have a towel to wipe with. Then I went to the bottle depot to exchange my recycling for $3, and then out to the Walmart parking lot to chill at the donation box a friend of mine works at for the rest of the afternoon. (they might end up seeing this since they follow me on here I think, but I'll just have to burry this post in other junk before they get to looking at this). I got home at 5 and luckily wasn't forced into anything after that, so I got to spend the evening rereading Arifureta (physical edition) peacefully on my bed.

Yesterday (Friday):
It was kind of a crazy day at work. I came in a few minutes early to go to the washroom and I could hear someone yelling from across the clinic. When I went inside the pharmacy my coworkers were like "it's a crazy day today, there was a guy yelling at us". Apparently the doctor wouldn't prescribe what he wanted so he was yelling at my co-workers (both female). It's a good start to the day, especially since the boss was on vacation and the only ones there are the part time pharmacist (ESL) and the other pharmacy assistant (who everyone seems to think is a pharmacist). So anyways, this guy had gone in and out of the building to yell at my coworkers several times, and the last they heard of him was a report from another client that he was outside yelling at some poor lady on the street. But, whatever, we get some crazies on accasion so no big deal. I go to make blister packs and we carry out our duties. Fast forward a few more hours and I hear some more yelling. A lady this time, one I deliver to on occasion. She's yelling about how she wants the medication she was asking for immediately (a narcotic) and she was just getting super angry that my coworker (the other assistant) wasn't giving it to her. If I remember correctly she's an old lady with a condition that leaves her with the mental age of a child, so she's just throwing a tantrum. My coworker just needed to confirm that she could have it since she was early and the boss didn't mention anything about it before hand, so it wasn't a big deal. The lady's yelling escalated into a personal attack, and calling my coworker a b*ch. My coworker started crying (for the first time since working here) and a man came up to the till. He looked around a bit shocked and said to the client throwing the tantrum "well, you're useless" promoting the lady to exit the building. "are you okay?" he asked my crying coworker "could I get some change?" later everything was sorted out and we tried calling the client to see if she wanted us to deliver the medication to her, but he just yelled and hung up on us. Later on we received a weird package in the mail to the pharmacy. It was addressed to us, and inside was a really thick metal pipe about 40cm long and 15cm diameter, the metal was about 4cm thick and it was heavy. On the side it was labeled "hot water valve" and we checked with the boss and the clinic and no one knows who's it is. I spent the rest of the day reading Arifureta vol 2 while keeping the cover hidden from the eyes of my coworkers.

That's all for now. I'm tired.

I still live with my parents at the moment. My intention is to not do any of that, but usually they disguise it as something else before leaving me too far away from home to get back without a ride. Essentially it becomes "finish this so you can get home" after I get tricked into following them.

Then don't. Do you live alone or not?

@911 no, I work at a pharmacy. Anything I do related to construction is unpaid forced labour.
