Rivers of blood I've seen,
Rivers of sweat I've sailed,
Every now and then drops of bliss I've stored.
Souls and Bones, Rats and Night;
Everytime I wake,
Death keeps me afloat.
My hair has taketh ash,
My face resembled earth,
My shovel oblique like my visitors souls.
Mother says there's time,
Father has become blind,
Oh death when will you take me to rest.
With my yard filled,
And graves settled,
I see no path left.
Some say it's sacred,
I say its broken,
Why dwell on a empty shell?
Burnt and Buried have I countless shells,
Seen and felt have I countless tears,
It all seems blur,
Now that I've learnt.
A life is nothing more and nothing less,
Mourn and leave, keep no hopes on a empty shell.
This is all,
Night has come and my graves have called,
I'll wait with fire till you see it's time,
Death don't make me wait.
Keeper of shells
