I'm being charged $20 to and from work ($40). I have to pay my own sister for gas, which is especially eyebrow raising.

Because I don't have a car, or even knowledge of handling vehicles, I still don't understand adults' obsession of gasoline.

I only worked one day last week, so all I have is $120.

QwQ) I wanted to buy an SSD.

      Okay, yeah, I didn’t want to say it again before, but yeah, your sister is unreasonable if you’re going to the same place.

      I dont know what to say. That's an asshole sibling you got there.

      I mean, I was once in your place, I stayed in my uncle place for a while, my work place was far, needed 45min-hour with car to go, I didnt have car or other vehicle. My uncle offered to drive me half way along his way to work, but I needed to wake up very early and still needed to ride a 30min bus after that, and I went home with bus myself, he never asked for anything because it was just along the way.

      I dont know abt you, but personally I will not ask for help if I still can do it myself even if it means walking 1 hour. Moreover, it involves money. Involving money with friends is dangerous, what's more with such sibling. They can bite.

      @Kaylee, @Anra7777, @AliceShiki, **** I don't even know anymore, she said,

      "You think mom's friend is driving you home for free? You think Gasoline is free? If you say something like, "Why I have to pay when we're going the same way," a guy will sock you in the face and just tell you to get out of his car."

      Meanwhile I don't wanna piss her off anymore so I'm just, "Mm, mm, (didn't know I had to pay, okay then), mm mmm mmmm. I'm sorry, I get it, alright, here's your $20."

      "No, I don't even want it anymore, you can find someone else to take you to work after today."

      All of this, just because I didn't want to pay at that exact moment in time and asked why I needed to pay my own sister for a ride to the same place. (´-﹏-`;)

      If you work at the same place, why'd you need to pay for the gasoline?
      Does she not need to use the car by herself before to go there?

      Cars are way too expensive... I prefer using the bus more often than not... >.>

      Or walking~

      ... But well, sometimes due to time constraints or location or distance, I can understand it's not always possible to avoid the car~

      @Anra7777, we work at the same place, and she drives for 1 hour, another to get back.

      I ride with different people back home at night.

      Okay, $8/dayseems far more reasonable. Especially since I’m presuming she also had to drive to her work after dropping you off, unless she works at the same place as you. I guess it depends on how long you’re driving for. I thought you were saying you have to pay $40/day.

      @Anra7777 it's basically $8 a day, $8 back.
