Sickness

You know... Getting sick is annoying... Well, of course it is, who doesn't know that?

I got an ear infection this last week... At first I just shrugged it off like I always do with any sickness that doesn't leave me bedridden or with a 40+°C fever, Like... Nothing a few good nights of sleep and a shower can't solve.

Well, yesterday my ear was pounding as if I could hear my heartbeat from it, I was suffering from a ridiculously huge pain (oh, and a headache as well), and I got afraid of having my tympanum actually breaking... So, I did what any sane person would do, I went to the hospital.

Turns out it was indeed an ear infection, and a pretty bad one at that, I'm taking medicine for 10 days, 3 times per day.

Alright, seems reasonable enough, I got happy enough that the medicine already relieved my pain a great deal on the very first usage.


Here is the problem, I can't put my ear into contact with water, I have to put some cotton on it and put some oil on the cotton to stop water from entering whenever I take a shower... I have no idea why I can't put water in my ear, but it seems to be a very necessary thing, or I wouldn't be here right now.

Turns out I ended up putting too little oil on the cotton, it didn't fix itself properly on the ear, it didn't properly stop water from entering and it even fell on the ground at one point.

Well? I put the medicine on my ear some hours ago and went to sleep... Turns out it was nearly ineffective!!! *flips table*

Alright, some ear pain, I can live with that... But no! The headache came back! And the ear pounding came back!

Can you imagine yourself sleeping with your ear constantly pounding, giving a feeling your tympanum will explode and a headache? Well, if you do, please give me your imagination powers and the power to make it a reality as well, because I certainly can't! *flips many tables*


So, here I am, at 3am, writing a blog post when I wanted to be sleeping... Maybe I should go try to edit a chapter while on phone, with a headache and a pounding ear... I'll definitely not faint in a few hours when I finally have access to a PC and have the conditions to make a proper editing... Haa...

I hate being sick... Seriously, I cope with sickness with 2 methods! Shower, and Sleep! I can't wash my ear on the shower, and I can't sleep because of the ear pounding! What am I supposed to do now!? I don't have a backup plan in case I can't sleep! Let me sleep you dummy sickness!!!!


Haa... Being sick is a pain...
