In a small room with walls bordered by bookshelves and piles of stacked books along the floor there was a man hunched over his desk writing. Occasionally when his quill was out of ink he would dip it into his inkwell. The writer often spent most of his time at the desk either reading or writing, and sometimes even sleeping. On this particular night the writer had an idea that was so sudden he feared that it would leave him if he didn't put down what it was immediately.

And so, as the writer was half done jotting down his idea, and the ideas that his first had brought about the signs of tiredness began to take their tole on him. His eyes began to fall closed, along with his hunched back becoming a slumped one. But the writer refused to accept the drowsiness abounding him. He was in the midst of it, still unfinished, he thought, If he were to let it end here then perhaps he would never finish it. He pressed on and jotted down the words that his mind could not fully process in its current state, but nevertheless came to him.

At last, sleep befell him and with the last of his strength he gently placed aside his papers and laid his head on his desk, satisfied, he sighed and fell asleep. In his slumber the writer’s body was sometimes restless and would move to a more comfortable position. His arm that wasn't acting as his head’s pillow moved outwards causing his inkwell to tip over the edge of the desk. The ink spilled onto the floor. Something very strange was happened: the ink poured and poured and wouldn’t stop. Only by the time the entire floor was coated with a layer of ink did it seem to finally run dry. From the ink floor was a bubbling, from the bubbling grew a small shape, and from it grew a larger one.

As it grew taller the ink surrounding it spilled off, revealing the shape of a gorilla, but one without any of its features. It had no black fur, in its place was an almost shimmering silver coat; its face looked like that of a wolf or fox, with intelligent eyes and and a set of teeth like a shark's; at the tips of its paws were long, deathly sharp claws. Towering above the sleeping writer, it looked at him with carnivorous impatience.

All credit for this one goes to @Bad Storm since it was their idea. Check out my blog @Emmyy @XiaoYun @Tramsloof!

@Bad Storm You can still write it! We can ask people to compare them! Wouldn't that be fun!?

Because it was your idea, of course!
