We are the children of hope
Sleeping on the clouds
weaved by our parents
Hanging on a thin line

We are the children of hope
Confused and lost
Not knowing where to go
Questioning ourselves

"Is this really my dream,
or am I just a dream?"
"Am I really enough,
or am I just deceiving myself?"
"Am I really living,
or am I just breathing?"
"Do I even deserve to live?"

We are the children of hope
Lost in the dreams and expectations
Unable to fight and unable to give up

We are the children of hope
Silently crying under the covers
Wishing tomorrow will be better
