The day you left
I was standing next to you
Admiring the stars
Ignoring your coldness
The day you left
I had no heart,
to ask why you've changed
The day you left
You didn't even have the guts
To look me in the eyes
Your cowardice took place
But not an ounce of guiltiness you felt
The day you left
You threw away the ring,
I gave you the year before
The day you left
I had no surprise
Because I was holding,
a broken kite
That I insisted,
to fix
The day you left
I couldn't even cry
Because my heart became cold
The moment you turned your back
The day you left
I burned all photos
Of you and I
That I once treasured
Yet now they all are nothing but ash
