I have read until ch 11 and so far mc was neglected by her only uncle and grandfather after her father died since she was an illegitimate child from her grandfather’s youngest son and she was an half-blood (literally confusing with what they mean by half-blood either it’s meaning is half-blood commoner or half-blood in magic). Mc was even not being fed and cleaned properly at first when the maids knew that she was not regarded as the duke’s granddaughter also she was totally ignored by everyone after her uncle knew that she was in his personal garden albeit I assume was her uncle’s order. unlike other novels whom usually written mc as a baby being loved by her family when her family knew that she was being neglected here the treatment became worse after her family knew of the neglected treatment that she received from the maids, no one not even her cousin really helpful or care about her. The slowwwww translation also killing me but I just hope when she was a bit older she can get their family treasures and kick off her da*n so-call family.
I reeeeaaaalllyyyy hope she doesn't forgive them easily. Its such bullshit they abused a baby for more than a year just because she had a commoner mother. I want some spoilers on how they're going to beg for her forgiveness. They really tried to starve a baby to death, had plans on killing her, and purposefully overlooked her mistreatment because she "tainted" their family pride with her blood. Mana stones or not, I hope she doesn't fall into liking them or appeasing them so easily. They need some karma. The only one who is ok is her cousin since he's just a kid and Vera too for actually treating her like a baby.
Except the son, the 9ther ppl are trash, how can u didnt give her carpet when she is a child and cant walk, i feel sad about this. They are all heartless people. I hope she grow up fast and get out of there, i understand now why on the cover didnt show anyone beside her. Jaah
